The Riverwalk Vista is a 17-room hotel offering a perfect location for important meetings and gatherings that require an intimate and private setting, without giving up the cultural, entertainment and dining options that can only be found in a metropolitan setting. The Riverwalk Vista offers King Suites, Queen Suites and Standard rooms. Each room has similar amenities with varying views.
they don't have 100's of rooms, only a few. But this place is very nice. It just different. The decor, room size, staff is great. The lobby of the hotel is jaw dropping. A little pricey, well a lot pricey. But I would recommend that you try at least once.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, including my room. The rooms have hardwood floors, tall ceilings and vintage furnishings. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a great set up for both business travelers and tourists or couples. The breakfast was very good, with a variety of fresh fruit, quiche, and your basics like cereal, muffins etc. I am also a big coffee drinker and love the Community Coffee, which is strong, rich Louisiana coffee. This hotel is right in the middle of the bustling convention center area, so road noise could be a problem for light sleepers- but the "white noise" machine in my room blocked out most of this for me. The only major flaw I noticed was that this hotel is right over an inner-city McDonalds. On Friday and Saturday night the teenagers hang out all along the street in front of Mickey D's, and these weren't the most wholesome looking crowd. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I was there on business, but if my wife and I return to San Antonio, we will definately stay at the Riverwalk Vista.
Pros: decor, staff, room size, cleanliness
Cons: right over an inner city McDonalds
