I moved down to Houston from Ohio in July for work. I chose this place because I *thought* it was a secure complex. WRONG! At any given moment, chances are at least one of the gates is open, allowing anyone in the complex grounds. The excuse is always the same, ""they are working on it"". Even with new management, this has not changed. Also, while I was away for the holidays visiting family, management had to enter my apartment. I knew before I left there was a chance they would, so I requested they reset the alarm (since there is NO way I am leaving my alarm turned off for 2 weeks!). I even called to make sure it had been taken care of. Not only did they lie about resetting it after they entered my apartment, they failed to send someone out to check for me (even though I was told someone was on their way out the door to check). One other issue, don't trust your mail making it to you. If the post office actually finds the complex, chances are if you have a package, it will sit in the office, lost, for 2+ months (like what happened with multiple packages of mine).

Pros: Grounds are well kept

Cons: Security (lack there of), nonprofessional and dishonest staff
