After a 2 hour drive I arrived for my 11:00 appointment at 9:45.I signed myself in by the lobby clock which I found out later was stuck at 10:10. I sat down in an extremely cold waiting room and had to fill out some paper work even though I had already given the same info at my consultation appointment a week earlier. Sitting there shivering I kept thinking the receptionist would invite us to take a seat in the next, much warmer t.v. equipped, waiting room. She didn't so I took it upon myself to move. It was warmer but mercy! the chairs could have come from some medieval torture chamber. At 11:30 my wife got up to see if it would be much longer. "Oh" she said, "I thought you had already gone in. Let me check".At 12:30 my wife goes and ask for the clinic manager. 'what's the problem?" they want to know. Believe me she tells them. We haven't eaten all day (via your instructions), your wating rooms are cold and impossibly uncomfortable, we've been waitng for 3 hours! "Oh didn't someone call you and tell you to be here before 9:30? The Dr. decided to do surgery today." At 1:00 I go in to get the injection. They give me one low dose pain pill and one zanex and no time for them to take effect. The doctor comes in the room and speaks to everyone but me. I guess courtesy is no longer common these days. The xray misses the spot so he has me lift up. But I can tell by the way it feels he's missed where he needs to put the injection. I leave limping to go to Physical Therapy. Sign in, they call you up to ask you irrellavant questions twice. Do they realize their patients are in pain??? Then they call you up to collect your money. PT? What a joke.Do these exercises, lay here with this heating pad on your back. They left me in the room for an hour. They forgot about me until I opened the door. I got there at 9:45. I left at 4:15. In the waiting room my wife heard 3 more people asking why they were having to wait so long, and 2 other people being hounded for payments.
