My father is a very proud man and hard working man. He sent all 3 of his children to college and worked 3 jobs. He was so focused on his children that he failed to look after himself and plan for the future. He never set up a 401 K, Roth IRA, invested in stock or adequately saved his pay checks. \n\nAll the money my father earned went to his kids future. Well this good intention has come back to bite his retirement years. He did not have medical insurance and was hit by an uninsured motorist. Since my father was an older man his recovery took a very long time with a lot of medical attention and practitioners.\n\nNeedless to say he incurred a lot of debt and did not know how to cope with it. I have never seen my father so miserable and helpless not to control his own affairs. I saw a man who was in his late 60's who acted like he was in his 30;s turn into a feeble 90 year old man. \n\nWe had an intervention with our father and suggested bankruptcy. He would have none of it. We explained to him that he would lose his house, car and work another 30 years to try to pay off the medical debt when it was not his fault for being hit by an uninsured motorist. \n\nI explained to him this is what bankruptcy is for. It is to protect those who have hard times fall on them with no mercy. I told him the accident wasn't his fault, you worked hard your whole life and the bankruptcy law was designed to help people like you who have given to society and family his whole life. \n\nWe finally got through to him and we made an appointment with the law offices of John T. Orcutt. The staff was very compassionate and walked him through the whole process. Josh Hillan was particular helpful to my father and he was officially discharged in May of 2011. \n\nAfter everything was complete my father returned to his old self. He is out doing yard work, helping his neighbors, spending time with his grand children and living out the golden years of his life in happiness. So all of those out there who are afraid or ashamed of bankruptcy, then you have not seen a man lose everything, fall apart and then have their lives completely turn back around because of a law that protects those who fall on bad times.\n

I heard an ad on the radio about second chances with debt from the law offices of John T. Orcutt. I called the free 800 number and asked if they thought they could help me. I was instructed to make an appointment for a consultation (which is free) to get my questions answered. Needless to say, I needed their help badly. The bank took my cake and now they were coming after the crumbs. My bankruptcy stopped the foreclosure and allowed me to catch up on my payments while getting rid of compounded debt. It was the best choice I ever made besides marrying my wife. Thanks again.

I was able to file an affordable bankruptcy plan with the Law Offices of John T. Orcutt. I was worried that if I couldn't afford to pay my bills how could I come up with the money to pay for legal services. Turns out that the this law firm takes that into account and they were able to set up a 99.00 a month bankruptcy payment plan. This was a huge relief for both my wallet and stress from being in debt. I can't thank them enough.
