I rented a trombone for my son from this store (they came to his school) in 2009. When the instrument was deliverered to the school, it was in horrible condition - tarnished, peeling, dirty. So, I returned it within the first week. I discovered in November 2010, that they have been withdrawing the rental amount from my checking account every month since August 2009. I called the store and talked to Gary Pearce, the owner. He said he would look into it. I have called him 8 more times, every time it was like he had never heard the story. He always promised to look into it, but didn't even ask for a contact phone number to get back with me. I called his billing contractor directly (Vertias) and they offered to stop the automatic withdrawals. Now I am getting "late payment" calls and letters from Veritas. Gary still refuses to do anything about it. He apparently has to search every piece of paper in his files to find the serial number of the instrument. At this point, he owes me $571.62 as well as fixing any damages to my credit report. Small claims court is my next stop. Please do not do business with this store!!!! They are dishonest, unresponsive, and irresponsible!

PS. I rented a brand new trombone from Williamson Music in Plano for a lower monthly rate and have been very satisfied with them.

These guys are very classy, The shop is always clean, they have plenty of learning material. If you prefer to learn from an instructor, you can do so as the have lessons for guitar, bass and drums. I'm sure they have other instructor's but this is what I heard while visiting. I would highly recomend.
