KidzArt is a portable program that operates on-site at convenient locations in West Austin. We offer our programs after school as well as during the day. No boring lectures here. Creativity rules. KidzArt is an art-enriched experience that astounds & inspires. Through fun interactive exercises & personal encouragement, student energies are channeled into brain storming, problem solving & practical application. Students are introduced to the world of contemporary & fine art. They work in 2 & 3-dimensional art media to learn to draw. What begins as random shapes & colors emerge as confidence building skills to pursue most any subject. With the instruction of degreed professionals, KidzArt offers a kid-tested curriculum that stays fresh & grows with our students. KidzArt programs meet or exceed the National Standards for Arts Education. Our students thrive.
My daughter has been taking KidzArt classes for over a year now and I cannot recommend it enough! The program quality is heads and shoulders above other art programs we have tried. My daughter's confidence in her art has just exploded since she began this program and I know it is due to the way they actually teach and guide her through techniques and different subjects. She looks forward to her KidzArt class each week and loves coming home with her projects!
I recently learned that the instructors are all degreed in teaching and/or art and now I understand why the quality of the program stands out. It is seen in the artwork she brings home each week. We have a wall of her pictures in our family room and it is a conversation piece every time we have company. Friends always comment on how amazing her artwork is, especially for a 7yr old. I'd definitely recommend this program to any parent wanting an art class or camp for their children. The kids will love it and I'm sure you'll be impressed.
Pros: quality instruction, great teacher, fun for the kids, interesting and educationa topics
Cons: none
