Harlem Bar

Once you go beyond cool, ambience and good music what do you have? I started the evening experimenting with the drink called Harlem Shake, after a literal taste (no fault of the bartender) it was not to my liking. I requested a Cab Sauv instead or to replace it. The server said I had to speak to his manager. After an extended time I inquired again and he said "did you speak to my manager?" Was I, the guest, suppose to look or fetch the manager?!! To my shock, I had to get the managers attention. At the end of the night I was charged, at the consent of the manager, for TWO drinks. I've NEVER heard of paying for drink you did not like or consumed. I did not want a free drink. I simply wanted a drink I could enjoy. I worked in excellent restaurants for several years and we ALWAYS accommodated our customers. Secondly, if Harlem Bar is just opening its door for the evening don't ask for "hoe bread" even if its on the menu because they will not have it 86 it!
Harlem Bar has atmosphere that's it! You can get better customer service and food elsewhere in Atlanta. Save yourself the grief.

I have been to the Harlem Bar many times and the vibe is always cool. I enjoy the live music along with the people that are there. On some nights they have movies playing on the wall. Check it out.
