i first found this game at great wolf lodge a smaller version so I can only imagine the beach one but anyway I expected to love it. As a kid this would of been right up my alley and it was right up my kids we all played wizard101 so we decided to go. First thing I saw when I entered was a small shop that you HAVE to enter i have already payed for our time and starter wands (they came with the trip) but we still get sucked in. The moment we enter I am amazed the people that made this have tried to make this a perfect thing there are toppers with special powers upgraded wands and much much more! So being the dad I am I upgrade there wands to the max and toppers for 60 dollars one time payment so noe only thirty to play again. We enter and all you see is this giant tree! It has some sort of check in device and of we go questing in our ''clan'' what they called use slinging our wands everywhere and having a great time I literally felt like I was 10 again. As for the kids they started saving money just to go in again it was so good. It is really an unexplainable experience you absolutely must go!!!!!

Magiquest is okay. There isn't much to do there and they are expensive. My granddaughter went there once and did not have a great review. This place is weird and I wouldn't recommend it.

We have gone to Magiquest during rainy days in Myrtle Beach. You really do feel like you've been dropped into a fairy tale when you go. It truly is a unique experience that the kids continue to enjoy. The basic premise is that you collect items for your quest by hunting them in the "magical land". The kids love the quests and using their wands like Harry Potter.

This place used to be the Butterfly Pavilion, which we absolutely loved. So we were disappointed when it stood empty for a summer. Then Magiquest came in. Wow! You can't explain this place, but if you get to Myrtle Beach, you just have to go - young or old - and experience it. You get a wand and go on an adventure. You're given "quests" to find things, and you search through this two story magical world to find them. When you do, you wave your wand and it somehow stores what you find - they must have gigantic servers in this place. After successfully completing the quests and earning the "runes" you can do some adventures - like fighting a huge dragon. The kids love it, and we get into it every year too. The only suggestion I'll give is to go in the morning - preferably when it's not raining - because it can get very crowded.

You go to this place at Broadway on the beach and the staff is very excited to tell you how much fun this and get you really excited until they mention that it costs in excess of $10 a person to go on an over glorified scavenger hunt. Not worth it at all.
