DO NOT waste your money here! I went in, with punky hair asking to go back to normal. I gave the dresser (rachael) a picture and the color names of what I wanted. A dark blonde base with highlights and lowlights...all ending in a honey color. She gave me all this crap about why she could not do exactly that, I walked out with all black hair!! I paid 110 for it! I hate it and I hate her. Please do not ever waste your time. They DO NOT listen to what you want! I have to go and spend another hundred to have it fixed! I can't believe it!
Edited to add:
I was in no way a walk-in client. I had an appt scheduled the previous day, by my own mother.
AND-I was able to go to another salon two days later and *professionally* received EXACTLY what I had asked for! I was asking to return to close to my own natural color, and it was done. It took about two hours and I was treated with respect and care, unlike at your salon. It is true, my hair was a mess, but what I was looking for was someone trained ENOUGH to fix it. And I found it, just not at your salon. It is clear you have little or NO respect for teenagers, by your response. AND I BET, many, many of your clients are teenagers, so your response to me should send a LOUD message to any teen looking for a salon. DO NOT go to BLO, they BLO. They will not respect you, or care about your feelings at all. Just take a look at this response from the owner! Try Mitchell's at Southpoint, they saved me and my hair. They treated me with respect and care. They did the job that BLO could NOT or would not do. NOW it seems to me, they may have messed up my hair out of spite. Contempt for me because I was young and had made stupid mitakes with my hair. Thanks BLO, you sure do live up to that name.

Moriah I wish you could take some responsibility

Moriah Garza you're a text book example of what it's like to deal with an entitled teenage american consumer who's unreasonable expectations are based upon a limited knowledge of hair and hair color. Rachael, a Master Stylist, inherited your mess of a hair color. She gave you a professional recommendation based on 3 factors. Her available time (as you were a walk-in), your budget and what your hair could withstand. She SAVED you $100's PLUS the integrity of your hair. I assure you this would only be possible in a salon of BLO's caliber. Just because you brought a photo with you doesn't mean Rachael made an error. You fail to mention the 30 MINUTE investment Rachael made in your consultation where you acknowledged your hair color was a tragic mess. Rachael CLEARLY defined your options for you so you could manage your expectations. It’s sad that a professional young woman such as Rachael has to pay a price for being exactly that, A PROFESSIONAL. I'm not suggesting Rachael or any other member of BLO is infallible. What I’m suggesting is that one experience BLO for one's self. Moriah, learn to take responsibility for yourself in life, it's the greatest gift you can give the rest of us.
