The pharmacy drive-thru at this particular location is somewhat lacking. It doesn't matter if you're dropping prescriptions off or picking them up, you're gonna have to wait. I think it's because this pharmacy is understaffed. I've never seen more than 2 people working behind the counter. I've even went inside to the pharmacy to see if it would be faster. NOT! The time of day doesn't seem to matter either. This pharmacy is a lot closer to me than the Walgreens @ Matlock & Green Oaks. They might be closer but they are no where as fast or friendly than Walgreens. Walgreens is cheaper on a lot of their medications, too. CVS has only one drive-thru lane. They could easily fix a lot of these problems by adding more workforce behind the counter & perhaps opening up another lane....as far as the price is concerned, I guess it depends on what med. you're having filled. Everything I've ever had filled there was more expensive than Walgreens. If you've got the money, they've got your time, too.
