Nationwide Relocation Services are the most horrible moving companies. I hired them for moving from Texas to California. They just charged me the deposit and after that it was very hard to contact them. Everyday they gave me a different pick up date. Finally I tried to speak to a manager and I got a final date of 20th Feb, 7am to 9 am. I had the driver's # and I called him and the driver did not know that he was scheduled to pick my stuff. I had to request him so much. He finally agreed. But when he came to my apartment he told me that I will have to tip him and his buddy 240$ apart from the 1567$ that has been agreed upon in the contract. Nationwide should just go out of business. They do not realize how important a customer is. If you want to move peacefully, don't even think of Nationwide. They suck big time.

Nationwide Relocation is full of cheaters, blackmailers, and dishonest people. The more you will talk to their supervisors. You will find you are talking with a more professional liar. In the team of these criminals. They will laugh on your helplessness.
Initially these agents will talk to you so respectfully and then when the moving time will come, you will be doubtful if you dialed the same number.

They blackmailed me at the last moment by increasing the price 33% even before coming. These are agents. They never had the mover but keep blackmailing by stating if you want a mover, agree to more money, if not , your deposit will go away.
I am impressed by the fact that, these criminals are still in the business, even cheating hundreds of consumers. Every review is 100% correct.

I am cheated by Nationwide relocation Services. They kept my deposit of $715.46 and did not give me services. They asked me more money on the last moment when I refused to pay more money. They kept my deposit.
I hired Nationwide in 1st week of June for the moving date of June 25 from Atlanta, GA to Lexington, KY. The Nationwide agent Mr. Freddy, the nationwide agent confirmed that that movers will come on 25 or 26 and everything was included including packing material, packing service, mileage, gas, toll, shuttle charges etc. When I read the contract and asked about different legal term. Freddy said this does not apply to you . Then I emailed him stating we talked about these terms and let me know, if anything is not correct from our discussion. I called him and confirmed it was received. He confirmed everything was correct and there will not be any hidden charges,
Now the moving window time came, some moving company called on June 24 mornings and told me that they are calling on behalf of Nationwide and will come and pick the stuff on June 25. Nobody came, Then again on the same day; another local mover on Nationwide??s behalf called and said, he will come on 26 afternoons. Then he told me that he will charge extra $365 for Atlanta Shuttle and also 365 for Lexington Shuttle.
I was threatened that if I will not be paying the stated shuttle charges, movers will not come and deposit will be fortified.
After calling/leaving messages to several people and ultimately on June 28, their Manager, MS Cicely she will get me moving without shuttle charges, but moving date will be June 30. If I will not agree to that, my deposit will be fortified.
As promised delivery deadline was on June 28.They called me after 2 days of promised pick up date and told me that will move me without shuttle charges, the pick up date will be on June 30th and delivery will be after 3 days. If I will not agree for these days, my deposit $715,46 will be gone. They cheated and blackmailed me at the last moment and called me after several days of promised move date when I was already moved by another career. I had to hire another company urgently and paid $4500 for this emergency move.

Moving Order: 4652858-01 ? Pick-up December 29th, 2009 ? Delivery January 3rd, 2010.

After learning that Nationwide was not an actual van line (like Allied or United), I had serious reservations about the move. I have been a party to many long and short distance moves and this was the first time I had worked through a facilitator to coordinate the move. Frankly, I did not believe they would represent my interests with the contracted van company as well as I could. I can?t speak about all facilitators, but Nationwide has made me a believer. Except during his vacation, my estimator, Sean Boxer, made sure I was kept current on the move?s status. The contracted van line, A-Tops, arrived to make the pick-up as scheduled. Due to logistics surrounding my new home and the start of my new job here in Knoxville, the only day that would not have required me to take off work was Sunday the 3rd. Even though Sean and the rest of the staff at Nationwide tried to assure me that everything would be done to have the shipment delivered on the 3rd, they stopped short of making a guarantee. Up until the 3rd, I had fears that the contracting van line would exercise the far end of their contracted delivery window (the delivery window was from the 2nd to the 5th). In the end my fears were unjustified; A-Tops showed up on the 3rd and made herculean efforts to get the truck into the very tight complex where my new home is located.

It has been two weeks and I have now unpacked every box and inspected every piece of furniture; with the exception of two very minor furniture blemishes and one inexpensive broken glass, the move was flawless. This was probably due to the fact that almost every piece of furniture was wrapped in protective pads and extra care was given in protecting all the furniture?s glass elements. The attention given to my household goods by A-Tops was equal to or better than any move done for me in the past by the major van lines.

If I have a need to move again, I will most definitely consider having Nationwide facilitate the move.

ABLE MOVING, based out of Chicago Illinois, worked in concert with Nationwide in destroying my furniture and now they are willing to give me 60 cents PER POUND, which addds up to nothing. Please do not use these people.

I spoke with Julian at Nationwide for my move fro, Delaware to the south florida area. He was a fun to talk to and on top gave me a good price. I hadnt hired someone to move me before so for my first move it went really well. I got my stuff pretty fast and anytime I had a question he was there to answer it for me. Would definately use again.

I hired nationwide to move me from NC to CA for my recent transfer. i spoke with sean and he gave me a good price, wasnt the lowest, but it wasnt the highest either. He was able to let me know what o expect. The guys that moved me were great. Manny and his crew worked all afternoon to make sure that i was out by the end of the day. My stuff was delivered pretty timely and in good ondition.

He was able to let me know what o expect. The guys that moved me were great. Manny and his crew worked all afternoon to make sure that i was out by the end of the day. My stuff was delivered pretty timely and in good ondition.

The moving specialist assigned to our move grossly under estimated the weight in our house which lead to us having to pay 3 times the amount initially promised. When the contractor hired to do our move arrived, they took longer than promised, did not carefully pack any breakables, and blatantly lied about not being able to communicate with us. Our moving specialist was rude on the phone when we tried to resolve all of our matters, and nothing has been settled except that the movers got more money than they should have.

Julian Jamarillo, our moving specialist, needs to be investigated for his telephone behavior. He laughed in my ear, spoke to me disrespectfully, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me he was "his own boss who" makes "his own hours". I do not appreciate this treatement from my 5 year old, nor any person who refers to themselves as a professional.

The two young men who delivered the items, Robert and Lonnie, were terrific, and anyone who has the good fortune to have them as the delivery agents will find them professional, courteous and hard working. What the home office was lacking in was more than made up for in All Coast's employees. Since these companies are basically service companies I hope they are aware of what assets these two young men are.

Although your company was the most expensive, I based my decision in awarding you the move because of your accuracy of moving weight and personal concerns. In working with the actual moving group, they were considerate of our needs and did a superb job in packaging our priceless heirlooms to eliminate damages. As an overall review in working with Nationwide, we are very pleased with the outcome of our relocation. I wanted to take a couple of minutes to write you a letter to commend one of your employees. His name is Tony Sparkman. I had the pleasure of working with this gentleman during the week of June 26, 2008. This was my first time arranging corporate transfers of automobiles. I needed to make arrangements to transport four automobiles, two to Chester, VA, and two others to South Jordan, Utah.
Mr. Sparkman took the time to explain to me what the regulations were, what my options were, and answered the many questions that arose, in the couple of days it took for us to confirm the contract and make the arrangements. He was very patient, returned all phone calls or answered emails in a quick and efficient manner. He was helpful to our accounting department and the arrangements were made quickly and to everyone?s satisfaction. Not often enough, do people who perform excellent customer service receive credit. I complement you on employing such an excellent example of true customer service. In the past I have held the position of Customer Service Manager and understand how hard the job can be. Thank you again, for having the type of service that is valuable to me as a Director of Materials. I look forward to doing business with your company in the future, and I will inform others members of our Regional Purchasing Association of your company and its services.
