This is a great local golf course that is priced at resonable rate and the driving range is never crowded. The next time you plan your golf outing you need to visit Plantation Golf Resort.

Plantation is a fun golf course to play on. The layout is very open which is very forgiving for bad shots. The greens and fairways are well maintained and the price is reasonable.

When Plantation opened it was out in the middle of almost-nowhere, just north of Hwy. 121 near Hillcrest. Like the rest of Frisco, the area around Pantation has grown and every hole is tree- (or apartment-) lined now. It's still fairly wide open and a pretty good place to recover quickly after a bad tee shot. It's not too long, even from the back tees, and the par 3's are all various lengths (you won't use the same club four times). Three holes (No. 6, 11 and 15) have a similar design and you'll need to use an iron to keep from hitting it into the water on the tee shot. But if you're good with your wedges this place can be fun. Yes, it takes the driver out of your hands on a lot of shots but in my case that's often a good thing.
