Envy is too inconsistent, it's like a box of chocolate, you may get treated nice, or you may not, it depends on the therapist and even the reception. You can see in this and other forums that they just don't know how to treat people. I tried Siena, a new upscale spa down the street and they are much more professional and they have similar prices although they hit you for extras like hot rocks. Try them and see.

I had one of the most unprofessional massages here. These are inexperienced students who are still wet behind the ears. Don't let the low prices fool you. When all is said and done, you'll spend the same money at a day spa with an experienced therapist.
What a waste of time and money.

I would highly recommend Massage Envy to anyone looking to make massage therapy a life style change.
I have been a member now for over a year and I can not believe all of the benefits that I have experienced from just getting regular massages. I do not know how I lived with out them before.
My advice to first time clients is to communicate with the front staff what your looking for in a therapist. Therapists all have their own techniques and specialties.
Call in advance not the same day. The most popular therapist are booked some times a week or more in advance. (Ladies think about how much in advance you have to schedule with your awesome hair stylist?!) I tried a couple of therapist there before "I found the one." I always have to book in advance to get in with her but it is worth it. The one thing she has taught me is it is important to communicate with her. I never thought that for $49.00 a month I would have my own professional massage therapist.
The process is just like being at the doctors office. Get there early to fill out your patient intake form and to use the restroom. Keep in mind that you have the hour booked with your therapist but 50 minutes is the hands on treatment time. Also note that if you are late it cuts into your hands on massage time.
I would challenge everyone to try it for six months. You will not believe how much better you feel. You can not beat the prices. If 50 minutes is not enough time try the 90 minute session. That is the one I prefer. There is no hidden cost either with the membership. If you miss one month your session rolls over to the next month. The only extra cost you should budget in is the tip for your therapist. I recommend for an hour you tip $15 to $30 dollars.
If you are looking for a great deal for the money...hands down Massage Envy can not be beat. Now all of my friends, co-workers and even my husband all go to Massage Envy and we all see the same cute profession blond massage therapist.

Very clean facility. I was greated nicely and offered water while I waited which wasnt long at all. My therapist was awesome and the price was good. With the price I will definitely be able to allow myself massages more often. I highly recommend it. Its a great deal.

Excellent service from Massage Envy, reception area staff are very nice and offer drinks/ water while you wait. Massages are 55 minutes in length and a great value for the cost.

This spa experience was nothing special. I felt like I was just a number. Their primary focus was trying to sell me a package. The suite are small but beautifully painted in purple. I just experience a run of the mill masssage.

My opinion..people are just too picky..I see a lot of regulars and really nice people and really rude people that come and go. I think it is a really good deal on the membership..maybe it does take a couple of therapists to get what you want but thats just how it is if you're real picky. Tell the front desk people on what you're looking for and they'll put you with the right therapists. I've had 4 massages already and they were all wonderful. Each therapist had their own technique and I respect that. I've looked at other spas and massage places and they are highly expensive. I would not go anywhere else to get a massage..Getting to know the people that work there is amazing so you can create a relationship and that makes it easier to check in and check out. Massage Envy is not there to make your massage horrible they try the best they can and if you're not satisfied then that is your problem..I really think this place is one of the best. :)

Had a horrible experience with the staff at check in after scheduling an appointment for specific preferences was treated rudely. One staff member humiliated my companion in front of other clients. This was unacceptable and we had to leave. Please teach your staff what hurtful comments can do.

These massage envy places are popping up all over the place like a 7-eleven!
There is a reason that the massage is only $39, the therapists are terrible!
I am more than sure that 95 percent of the clients are one time customers only and the other 5 percent that repeat, just don't know a good massage when they feel one.
Trust me when I say don't waste your money or time, just pay the little extra money and go to a real spa for a massage.
Pros: cheap
Cons: not worth the money

I really like the Massage Envy experience. The place has minimal ambiance and a mass market consumer feel to it. BUT, I have to say, that's part of what I like. I don't really want a marble lobby with complimentary champagne. I don't want it to feel like it's some major extravagance, that should be reserved for special occasions. I just want a good, affordable, therapeutic massage on a regular basis. Massage Envy fits the bill. The only watch-out is that not all the massage therapists are great. I tried about 6 of them before I found one that I really, really liked. None of the others were bad, just not top rate. I almost hate to give out her name because I don't want her book to be full when I call. But, I'll take that chance. Whitney seems to find all the knots and make them go away. Pure bliss.
Pros: Price, hours, availability of appointments without planning ahead
Cons: Not all therapists are top notch

Got my one hour massage but it wasn't an hour....it's really only 50 minutes plus "consult" time and dressing time. I want a FULL HOUR. Then I get someone just out of massage school. If I wanted someone to just put lotion on me, I would have just asked my wife and saved myself $39.00. Don't go-go somewhere else and get a real massage!

I had a wonderful experience with my massage today at Massage Envy in Frisco. The people were friendly, the therapist was very responsive to my needs, and the price was fantastic at $39. I left a tip too, as I found out that's not part of the price, and there are posters in the clinic that give "suggested" tip rates for people that might not be familiar with getting massage...I wasn't!
They also have a membership that I'll look in to when I feel like I need a massage. Not quite sure how it worked, but it sounds like something worth looking at. I'm definitely relaxed though! :)
Pros: Great price, always open (late on weekdays!), friendly folks
Cons: It gets somewhat crazy when there are a lot of people in front, but in back it was serene. They do ask to buy a membership, but weren't too pushy.
