At Westside Urgent Care, if you read Physicians' Moreno and Saunders' professional profiles you learn that between the two they do have emergency room experience. However there is something seriously lacking in a practice whose doctors refuse to treat illness, which is half of what physicians do. They diagnose and treat.

This practice lost my entire medical record of over four years of history I brought with me from another state. It was a comprehensive record; they claim they they don't know where it is now that I want my records back. Their billing company cannot acccurately keep track of payments--sounds pretty simple but they lost $75 I paid to them and even when I showed them receipts of my payments they still couldn't understand. If you just make sure you pay on the day of your office visit, you should be fine, but you really don't want to get billed by "Medical Edge." They are awful.

I stayed with the practice because of Cindy Harris, DO, the terrific physician Westside Urgent Care fired, probably because she wouldn't bill her patients like a madwoman. Then, when Cindy "left" they wouldn't tell me where she was, which seriously messed up the continuity of my treatment--I have Multiple Sclerosis and I needed Cindy Harris, who knew my history. She was working right across town at Affordable Family Medical Clinic, but the staff pretended not to know where she was...

I find all this to be the height of unprofessionalism, and I wish to warn the community of El Paso about it--my last review was deleted, not surprisingly, though I am being forthright about MY experience with this practice. The practice has lied to me, outright, and interferred with my continuing good medical care under Dr. Harris. Their current doctors refused to treat me as a chronic pain patient, choosing to refer me to a totally unacceptable pain clinic that does not treat the type of pain I have. It is difficult enough to live with the stigma of being in chronic pain but then to have your doctors not align with you and ship you off to someone who doesn't know you is pretty crude, and to me, shows professional incompetence. If a doctor can't treat pain what can he do?

This practice lied to me about three separate issues, so I would not trust them with my medical care, records, or payments. There are too many other good docs in this town to take a chance on people who have been far less than unprofessional with even one of their patients.
