The owners are awful, not involved, rude and money hungry. They are not in the business for anything but the $$$-sad, but true

Big mistake to have your kids attending to Primrose, this is what i experienced, last week my wife received a phone called from the maneger said that my daughter was having a fever at 102, then when i was arrived and asked to checked to see whether she needs to go home to see doctor...when i personally checked underarm of my daughter by myself in front of them and noticed the temperature displays 99.7 which it normal to all...then i asked the manager why did you even make a phone when thing is not really that important. (my daughter was having a cool few day ago now she feels lot better and your ppl think it so important).
MY KID WAS PLACED ON THE FLOOR IN A COOL DAY TO BE PICK UP, WHEN I ARRIVED AND SAW ALL MANAGERS PLUS STAFF ARE CHATTING AND LAUGHING AND NOT EVEN KNOW I WAS THERE... PLACE IS ALL ABOUT BUSINESS NOT A BIT OF LOVE TO YOURS CHILDREN AT ALL.

My 3 children have attended the Primrose at Crossroads Park for 3 months. I have been so pleased with the professional and warm response from the staff. My children LOVE to go to school and that has not always been the case. The Owners and Management are first class. Thank you Primrose!!!!

My son has attended this school since he was 12 weeks old and it has been a wonderful experience. He loves his teachers and learns so much everyday. Dropping him off is a hard thing for me, but I feel so secure in knowing that he is very well taken care of. The staff is so polite and welcoming. I could go on and on about the great things this school has to offer, but I will stop there!

We were very happy to find Primrose after searching for childcare for my 10 month old and now she is 2 and we are very happy with the school. My daughter does well in the Primrose environment and my 4 month old will be starting there soon. My daughter loves her teachers and I really like the daily reports so that I know what type of day she has had. For us, it's the next best thing to staying home with her. I read some reveiws that mentioned high turnover and there was some when we first started and there always will be to some extent, but we have seen significant staying power among our daughter's teachers. Any concern I have had has been handled with great care and integrity.

The new director is horrible!! She has run off my son's teacher and most of the good teachers they had left. She talks down to everyone. She must really have the owner fooled, although that isn't hard as the owner never seems to be there when I am. I agree with "confused" some of these reviews must be written by the director. As soon as a spot is open my son is out of there.

I have a child in the young preschool class with Ms. Grant and Ms. Foster. And I love how great they are with the kids! They always insist on the children treating them and the other students with respect but are able to enforce this in a loving and firm manner. With that age it can be hard to curb their energy into safe things instead of running, climbing, and jumping off any available surface. I have a hard time with my own let alone a whole class full!

I am very happy with the new management. Ms. Buck came in around January and changed many things in the school and from what I can tell these changes have not harmed the children but ensured that their environment is an even safer and fun place to be. I love how direct she is when answering questions concerning my child's education.

Recently I have been worried about my child moving to the older preschool class due to the many staff changes over the last several months. However, there is a new teacher (Ms. Forsyth) who started somewhere around the end of February and seems to have great control in the classroom. I spoke to some of the parents who have children in that class and feel much better about my child moving up! When I drop off in the morning I see her working in the classroom and I like how the children go over to her and get excited about the projects for the day. The other teacher is very nice and always greets us with a smile. I am very happy with the staff in the Preschool rooms.

I am excited about Primrose again because of the many improvements and the new staff! Great Job!

Pros: Very clean school, interactive teachers, Friendy Management

Cons: High Staff Turn Over rate, Many policy changes, Not allowed to pack your child a lunch.

There is an extreme amount of turnover. Some really good teachers have left recently. I'm not sure why. Before she left my son's teacher said the owner has management writing favorable reviews on this website.

I have read all the earlier comments on the school and really think some people are being very harsh. I do agree that there has been some turnover - but with that they have gotten some great teachers!

As for the teachers and curriculum, I couldn't be more pleased! My son just started pre-school and has been attending Primrose since he was 4 months. Now I also have a 5 month old attending and feel totally at ease leaving her in the loving hands of her teachers. All the staff know both my children by name and make them feel at ease. My 5 month old is excited when dropped off and in a great mood when I pick her up.

I can't believe how much my 3 year old has learned in such a short time! When I compare him to other children his age, he is way above the curve in knowledge and his ability to communicate.

The school is always clean, they have outdoor play grounds for each age group, and I have never had an issue with a diaper not being changed or atleast looked at every hour!

Over all, I would recommend this school to everyone!

We are happy with the school. Sure it has had some ups and downs but seems to have carried thru on what we told on our tour. Would recommend it to others

Used to be an ok center. They now have some British woman that is scary and I will probably pull my girl from the school. For the last 4 months the director and asst. director seemed to have added some stability but this new woman seems to have brought things down. I've heard Kids R Kids is a good place. Perhaps I'll try them.

My son has attended Primrose at Crossroads for about five months now and I have been very pleased.
He has been enrolled in other daycare/montessori facilities and I was not very happy with their level of care and curriculum. It pained me to keep moving him around, but I knew he would benefit tremendously once I found a facility that met our standards. Primrose staff, at least the ones that care for him now (toddler room), are very caring. They offer numerous learning and outdoor activities and keep us updated on all the little things that we miss out on during the day - whether if he hugged or danced with a fellow student, or made everyone laugh in someway. As far as incident reports, they have been very thorough in documenting the incident and what took place, and how it was corrected. The staff and teachers have been pleasant, from my dealings and are always available.

This Primrose in praticular gives "PRIMROSE" a bad name!! Every parent thinks of Primrose as a Higher well rounded Excellent Education Center for their child atleast I did until my child attented. If only ever parent that had a child that attented this primrose only knew. The Owners are only in it for the MONEY .. they have gone thru 4 Directors since they opened in 2005... The staff turnover is Ridiculous in the first place and has always been since they opened the doors in August ... everyone knows that Stabilty in any childs life is important. They treat most of their STAFF like Nobodys.. and the lady driving the bus escourting the child too and from school as no CDL liscenses. If you ask me this school should not deserve to be ACCREDITATED. The school overall is poorly managed. I would Pick my child up every day with bruises , scraps and scratches on his body and the teachers not knowing what happened to him and soaking wet dirty diapers like he hasnt been changed in hours is un-Acceptable. The teachers are not trained and most of them have No experience what so ever, the teachers are constantly yelling at the children and yanking them around. The class rooms are always dirty and always have a smell that is undescribable I doubt the rooms have ever been sanitized... The money you pay for your child to attend this School is ridiculous in the first place why pay for something like this that your child is only getting his education thru play? I do not recommend this Primrose to anyone who has children especially children that they love.

This is a good school (for the very little ones (0-2 years of age)), but ALOT of problems have occured since our child moved to the toddler room. Instances include the following:
1) Twice within a week our child has been injured (cut lip and bruise near eye) with no incident report and only response is....he must have fell on the playground.
2) Un-Organized and no structure in the toddler room (no lesson plans, no activities--->just letting the children run around), the teachers (I mean staff--no teaching cert needed in Texas) are young and inexperienced.
3) Sanitation could be improved (children with runny noses, not help them, numerous times I have picked up my child with a dirty diaper and when I changed it there, it was dried on...so not recent)
and finally...
4) Staff/directors/ and owners treat it like a business, nothing else. Most daycares that we visited and unfortunely did not choose, take a warm interest in both the childrens environment and surroundings and actually care. With the numerous turn overs, we have questioned what is going on with this facility and the only response is....."We are working on hiring someone else"

As for the school, ALOT of turnover in the area of directrors and staff (less than 4 months time, 3 directors and toooo many teachers to count and that is just in our two rooms that our child has been in). I am not in the education field but do know that children need stability; however this location can not hire or retain staff.

I have to give credit where it is due, Ms. Lisa in the early toddlers room is great! Our child loves her and enjoyed her class.

In the end, we are looking at other schools, this school does not share the interest of the wellbeing of our child. Our child loved the early toddlers room.....but early preschool, it needs alot work and it needs it now. And as a parent, you can see the pain in your child's eyes when he does not want you to leave when you drop him off, heartbreaking.

Pros: Larger organization, nice new facility

Cons: Staff turnover (lacking in some classrooms and experience), sanitation, no activities for kids

My baby started attending Primrose last month and Primrose is outstanding. This school was built only 7 months ago so everything is brand new. The staff are so warm and I feel so comfortable bringing my child here. They give me a sheet that tells me when he ate, how much, how long he napped and tell me what he did during the day. It's right off of 290 and hwy 6 so it's very convenient on the way home. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!!!
