.

I have lived in Key West for 8 years. In 2009, I purchased 2 pair of trifocal glasses at Sears in Key West. 1 pair of sun glasses and 1 pair of transitions. I had to wait over 4 weeks for my glasses. The sun glasses were ready first. The transitions were ready about a week later. I could not see well out of the sun glasses. I thought maybe I was not used to my new prescription. I never got any use out of the sun glasses.
I could see better with the transitions, but the transitions frame was of very poor quality even though I paid around $150 for the frames alone. I moved to the mainland and had to replace my transition frames about 6 months later. I went to another Sears and they replaced the frames at half price. The new frames were twisted and I could not figure out why they were so uncomfortable. I went to Walmart and ordered new glasses at almost half the Sears price. Walmart looked at my sun glasses from Sears and they informed me that the trifocal was not centered. The trifocal was centered at the very top of the glasses. I would not recommend Sears for prescription eyewear. Sears no longer has a warranty on prescription eyewear..
I paid over $600 for 2 pair of glasses that were useless. If you depend on your eyeglasses, dont buy them at Sears in Key West FL. Go somewhere in mainland it will be worth the trip..
