Please stay away from this company. They are the absolute worse. Paid in full, up front only to get the run around and they still haven't installed anything. Now I want my money back and still the run around. I'm seriously considering suing them. Don't waste your time, money, or energy. Really bad company. ..and by the way, the staff person who did my measurements destroyed my grass leaving my yard. Ridiculous and unprofessional.

We purchased granite for our entire house at AIG after purchasing a home, which we were remodeling. It included granite in the kitchen, and three baths. Our experience with everyone we dealt with was extremely positive. Al Kaiser was great to work with in regard to his understanding of what we were trying to accomplish, and his follow-up was exceptional (as was his sense of humor). The individual, who measured and prepared the cads for the job, did everything perfectly. The cads are done by hand, which our contractor prefers as he mentioned the laser machines are not perfected yet. Peter and his installation team did a great job in all aspect of the installation. We were especially concerned about the seams, but they came out beautifully. The installation team also cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving the work site. We had an issue, which created a need to have the installation team come out on quick notice. I called Peter on his mobile phone, and he was able to accommodate us. We feel the value and service that AIG provides is exceptional. As a side-note, we received an email from Al advising us that we were over-charged of $100 due to a calculation error, and a credit was being made to our credit card!! We would highly recommend AIG.

This was the third time I've used Atlanta Intown Granite over the span of about 5-6 years and it was the best experience yet. Wendy was great with her follow-ups and communication. They took the measurements and installed the slabs on time despite the house being about 80 miles from Atlanta. The installation with the sink was spot-on and the granite was fantastic... and at a price that was almost $7 sq/ft cheaper than the competition. The slab that we got was on sale for $29 sq./ft... when I mentioned this to other places one indicated it was a lower qualtiy. Well if it is, I'd buy the 'lower quality' all day long. Plus with the sale they were offering we saved 50% on the sink and the edge profile. The previous experience I used a sink I bought from Ebay... it cost about $50 less but I found the sinks that AIG sells are of better quality and worth the $150 (maybe not if they weren't on sale, retail $300). No hidden costs and the final bill was the same as the quote.

Would recommend.

Most of all I was impressed with the price I received and with the great financing deal they gave me! AIG makes obtaining granite a reality and not just a dream! Check them out. Pros: Quality materials and great installation and customer servic

Cons: Installer was 2 hours late

I found this company threw a google search and was drawn in due to there prices, from the moment i called them my salesman Casey was very knowledgeable about there product and very upfront about work scheduling and the payment scheduling, Casey set up an apt. for me to go to their supplier and hand select my granite slab and i was also invited to get involved in the fabrication process at their facility, on the day of the installation the workers did show up 1 hour late but Casey did call me to let me know. The workers were very polite and very clean, my granite was installed in 3 hrs and it looked GREAT! Casey also scheduled a plumber to come the same day and connect my new faucet. I would highly refer this merchant to anyone and i will be using them for my bathrooms.

Thanks, Atlantaintowngranite for my beautiful counter tops!

A couple of years ago we had Atlanta Intown Granite install granite in our kitchen in our first home. We recently bought another home and decided to try them again. The experience we received from Wendy and Lonnie were great. We were looking for a particular color that they didn't have, so they directed us to a supplier close by where we were able to pick out the exact slab that we wanted for our kitchen. The template guy came out and measured and four or fives days later our beautiful granite was installed without a hitch. Thank you for a wonderful experience

This was possibly the most frustrating home improvement experience we have ever had. It began the day we were supposed to have the kitchen measurements done. Lost a whole day at work to have him show up well after 6pm at night. When we called the business to find out where the guy was, we were lied to. Told 3 different stories each time the "arrival" time past. Several times we were told the person we needed to speak to was "unavailable" but would return our call. She never did. We ALWAYS had to initiate the phone call. This should have been a big red flag to us to not go through with the job. Wish we had listened to our gut instinct.

The day the granite was supposed to be installed was more of the same treatment. Installers never showed up. We were given several stories throughout the day by the office staff, only to find out late in the afternoon that the granite was never even delivered to their showroom. It had not even been cut yet! So, I missed another whole day from work for nothing.

They then promised the granite would be delivered and installed the next morning. That promise proved empty as well. Notice a theme here? Again, we were given one excuse after another. Just out and out lies. The installers showed up at 6:30pm! They didn't leave until after 10pm. We were up until midnight cleaning up. And, another day missed from work that could have been avoided. Due to this delay, the plumber was unable to hook up any of the sinks. So, we had no working faucets on the first floor through the weekend. Plus I couldn't run the dishwasher. A big inconvience considering we had company coming over the next day.

Do NOT use this company unless you have patience and can have a person available to be there whenever they get the whim to show up.

I have had nothing but bad luck with this company. You want to beleive thier promises but DON'T. They will not call you back as promised nor will they show up ontime if AT ALL! I am still trying to get the RE-VISIT as they like to call it, which means mistakes they need to correct. I have taken off of work and no one shows up. It doesn't matter how many times you call them or how they promise to be there, they just don't show up. Every time you call, the person you previously spoke to is OUT TODAY. Hmmm why so many days off? Emails also go un answered. One would think in this hard economy that Customer Service would be at it's highest. This apparently means nothing to this company. Would not reccomend them to anyone. Stay away and do some reveiw research prior to hiring anyone to do such a job as granite. Wish I had done a little more checking prior to accepting thier quote.

I waited two months to write my review so i would not act on anger. My service was less than professional or desireable. The only thing acceptable with my service was the installer. Christian was top notch and took pride in his work. He is the only valuable asset in the WHOLE organization. The company charged my Amex card for the balance due two weeks before the job was finished. I had to call Amex to get the attention of Atlanta Intown Granite. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT!!!!!!

I discovered the company on Google and was pretty impressed (almost overwhelmed) with all the options and choices. However, you definitely have to go to the showroom to appreciate the variety and color in the granite. Matt helped me make a decision that perfectly fit my taste, budget, and home (kitchen and bathrooms). The installers were very accommodating with the scheduling, and spent long hours in my house to ensure that everything was done in just one day. What made me choose Atlanta Intown over the local competition was, honestly, the pricing. I thought having so many choices might slow me down, but it actually helped me make decisions quickly, because I knew just what I wanted when I saw it. As for the final results, everything is even and smooth - they seem to be pretty crafty working around the cabinets and plumbing, and were among the best when it came to cleaning up after themselves.

Pros: Maybe lowest local pricing. Huge selection. Clean and professional installers.

Cons: None. They knew how to make it happen.

We had our work done around October of 2007. Our experience was very similar to the previous reviewer. The installers were always 5+ hours late and on a couple of occasions didn't show at all. The template guy tried to tell me that my measurements were wrong and the difference was a couple hundred dollars. I pulled out the tape measure and challenged him to prove it. He couldn't, and said he had made a mistake. Maybe. Maybe not. I was promised a single day installation, which was one of the reasons we chose this company, but it ended up taking almost a week from start to finish, and we were left without a kitchen over Thanksgiving weekend. Again, we chose this company to avoid this exact scenario, since we were having family over for the holiday. I ended up taking 2 days off from work waiting for these guys, and they weren't even coming that day as promised.

The plumber was nice and courteous, but even he did sloppy work and didn't follow-up when he also couldn't finish his work in one day. I had to call and track him down, just like with the actual installers. When the job was done, it looked exceptional, but the price in mental anguish was extreme. I just discovered last week when we had Easter guests and needed to use our dishwasher, that they had not secured it to the new counter tops. I made a special trip to meet with the owner to discuss this experience and was met with smug arrogance. Avoid this company at all costs, unless you have the patience of Job.

You have been warned.

I waited to write my negative review until a friend of mine, who also used this company, relayed her experience to me. I wanted to believe them when they said that my treatment was an isolated incident, but apparently a lack of professionalism is par for the course with these people. Here is a breakdown of my horrible experience:
1) the template person showed up an hour and half past the appointment time - and no one called.
2) the installer showed up 2 hours AFTER my 5 hour window - and again no one called, in fact we had to call them repeatedly once our window was up and they basically gave us the installer's cell number and told us to call him - not that he answered or called us back. They finally finished their install at 8:30pm.
3) BUT IT DIDN'T END THERE! The template person made a mistake and one of our sinks was two inches - yes inches - off center in the cabinet. What amazed me was that they installers obviously knew this as they had to cut into the cabinet to make the sink fit - why they installed something so obviously wrong, I do not know, I guess they thought I would spend $1400 on a bathroom vanity top and settle for something that looked horrible.
4) When I called to tell them their mistake and ask them to redo to counter top - they didn't call back. FINALLY I got someone who sent out the installers - they were again very late. They took the top, came back a couple days later - a hour and a half - again no call - late and installed the correct counter top.
THANK GOD IT IS OVER!!! Yes, it looks great now but I was treated rudely and met with incompetence the entire way through.

I purchased my granite countertops at Atlanta InTown and couldn't be happier. Installation was very professional with very little dust or debris - will definitely recommend them to others. THANKS!!
