Best pizza in the Triangle! Featuring hand tossed pizza dough, fresh mozzarella cheese, and the best tomato sauce, Anzio's is the first and only place in the area to find true NJ style pizza. Quality ingredients like fresh mushrooms, green peppers, and slices of sausage plus a large variety of fresh toppings make Anzio's pizzas stand out among all the rest of the imitators. I was disappointed at other area pizza shops to find low quality ingredients such as pellets of sausage that looked like dog food and canned toppings on top of pre-made tough crust. The chain store pizzas are just a joke-not pizza at all. It's worth your while to go to Rolesville to find the tastiest NJ thin crust pizza made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. This no-frills pizza parlor also carries homemade Italian lasagna, pasta e fagioli, etc. Eat in, take out, or free delivery. Andy and Christina help the community by employing hard working area teens. Friendly service. You'll feel at home at Anzio's. Bravo Anzio's !

Will never use again! Tonight was the last straw. Usually I when I order from Anzio??s, it??s because I??m too tired to cook myself for my family of 6. Tonight was the last time I will be that desperate. The food has always been over-priced for the quality. But I will not sacrifice quality AND customer service when it come to feeding my family.
The service from the over-worked teenager who answered the phone and took my order was ridiculously rude. She was too busy to ask about my pasta order.
Then, when I called to complain that the delivery person forgot part of my order, the manager was ??too busy? to talk to me, and no one ever called me back as promised.
So sad, as much as Rolesville needs good places to eat?.this is certainly not one of them.

I agree with the last guy. The people who own this place are great and they play the best music. While I was waiting to get my pizza the owner, who's a big guy... you can't miss him, knew EVERY person that walked in the door... it was incredible. I felt like I was at a friends house... This was my first experience at Anzio's and when I got home to eat the pizza... it was the best I have ever had in NC... words can't describe, you really have to try it yourself. I had gotten a free 14" pizza in the mail when I moved to my new house and let me tell you something.... I will definitely be back. People claim to be the best.... these people aren't kidding!

If you're looking for great pizza to take out, get delivered, or eat in, Anzio's is authentic Jersey style pizza. The folks there are friendly, and quick to offer their service when you eat in. The place is fairly new and clean. The menu has a broad set of selections, especially considering the size of the pizzeria .

The crust is great, cheese and toppings are first class. Don't get the wrong idea from the five stars. I originally put in four stars, because the best pizzerias are the mom-and-pop businesses with open counters and lots of flour-and-sauce-spotted employees darting back and forth. If you want a five star restaurant, you're not looking for an authentic pizza. Otherwise, I give it a high five.

Update:
When I wrote my first review, Anzio's wasn't just the best Pizzeria in Rolesville, it was the _only_ one in town. (Another place has since opened up, but I can't comment on it.)

Anzio's now has wireless access too, making it ideal for club and user group meetings, with the large dining room in the back. We've used this for our Web Design meetups; members commented that they really liked the venue.

Disclaimer: After being a regular customer for over a year, I redesigned their Web site. Andy and Christina, the owners, really are open people and very connected to the community. But being a Jersey boy, I wouldn't eat there if the pizza wasn't top-notch!

Note re: "bad service". Anzio's does hire a lot of teenagers from around town. From time to time, teens make mistakes, get overwhelmed, lack motivation, fail to communicate, and move on to other jobs... but they do well for customer service despite that. And I'll repeat, the quality is top-notch.
