I was very excited for this restaurant after receiving a menu at my apartment door and looking it up online. It appeared to be like a PF Changs, was full of people, and had great reviews online comparing it to PF Changs. Unfortunately this is far from the case. Firstly, their food is grossly over-priced for what you receive and for the mediocre quality of the food. I must admit that some of their dishes (Sweet and Sour & Honey chicken) were very good. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. I am usually not one to write a review, but I cannot get over my disappointment. Here goes: They left food out of our $60 take-out order, The Tom Fun Soup tasted like seawater with lemongrass, The food is grossly overpriced for the quantity and quality (especially compared with other Asian restaurants, which could be overlooked if the food was as good as they say it is, half of our fortune cookies were smashed (minor, but still trashy and reflecting careless/reckless service), and worst of all I think the eggplant dish gave me food poisoning! I had horrible diarrhea after eating it. Finally we ordered one sushi dish (THANK GOD) and the quality was of that found in your local supermarket. UGG! Needless to say we will not be going back, nor recommending it to our friends!

After Furniture Market, we took the owners of the factories we use in China to dinner here. Now they have eaten Asian food all over the US.
They said that the Phoenix was by far the very best asian food they have eaten in the US. It was just like eating back home. They will frequent the Phoenix every time they are here for Furn. market. And will pass this along to other Asian visitors.
My husband and I eat there often and Love the food, and have not had any problems of any kind. Wait staff always very gracious.

While their cuisine is good, trying to get the cuisine is another story. About 6 months ago, my family decided to order out to the phoenix. I was told a certain time to come pick the food up. When I got there at that time, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. I was not alone, their were 5-6 other patrons waiting, which were told the same thing. To make a long story short 10 minutes turned into 45 minutes, after all of us getting very upset (by the way they were quick to take my money when I first arrived) and they offered no concessions for the wait. Well fast forward to tonight, for some reason we decided to give them another chance, we did not have a menu at home, so we went to go on their website-oops it was down. So I looked in the phone book in the restaurant section hoping their would be a menu in the res section- no luck. So I called the Phoenix, noticing they had a fax number listed, and asked to have a menu faxed, the girl on the other end said sure we'd be glad to! Guess what- never got it! So, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Their will not be a third time!

This is one of our favorite spots in town. The food is always delicious and portions are very generous. Our service is consistently good and prices are reasonable. They now have a good sushi selection, too!

I don't like the usual take out chinese, so this place was very refreshing. It has lighter and more authentic dishes. I have been pleased every time we visited with their food.. The service is hit or miss. The atmosphere is delightful!

Phoenix Asian Cuisine isn't exactly Chinese, isn't exactly Japanese, and isn't exactly Vietnamese or Thai, either. What it is, exactly, is rather exotic. Every dish has a combination of spices that is not quite what you've tasted anywhere else but is just right. Take their Phoenix Chicken, for instance. It's both spicy hot and slightly sweet. And that's representative of everything I've had there, in that it's unique.

The service is just as right as the food. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this place.

My boss took a group of us to Phoenix Asian Cuisine for a celebration and it was extremely good. We all got big plates of different foods and everyone tried some of everyone else's. I had a taste of the Phoenix chicken, pan fried prawns and Beef Sha Cha to go along with my Phoenix Lo Mein. I was not disappointed with any of it. I've since been back with my husband and then we took my mother there and we've had absolutely no complaints at all. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and I really enjoy it for dates with my hubby. The service is great, the staff is friendly and the food well worth the price. This isn't a buffet type Chinese restaurant. It would be perfect for a date or special occasion if you want to impress.
