We love this place. It is clean, friendly and really good food. We eat sliced roasted pork; great Dim Sum; whole steamed fish; pan-fried noodles; and their hot pots.

It is crowded sometimes, but that is because the food is so good.

If you're looking for some place that serves authentic Hong Kong style food (no not the take out junk), this is the place! The menu will be different for many folks who've never eaten here as the lunch specials offer more authentic dishes than the more familiar americanized versions.

This place serves dim sum every day, but only on the weekends do they wheel the dim sum cart around and offer a larger selection. IMO, the taste is better than at Chan's restaurant. Get there early as it tends to get crowded!

PROS: Authentic Cantonese cuisine, delicious dim sum!
CONS: Long lines on weekends, limited parking.

Orlando is in need for Dim Sum w/great and efficient service, and Ming Bistro is definitely not one of them.
My family and I have been to Ming's Bistro several times and each time the service just gets worse and worse.
I have to admit...the Dim Sum is good, but the service is extremely SLOW!!!
The owners need to hire more cooks for the kitchen, especially on the weekends and they need more carts/servers.
Chan's has the same problem w/service as well. Not to mention, if you are seated at the back of the restaurant (left side of the restaurant)...it seems as though the servers forget about you. They mainly stay in the front of the restaurant where the bigger tables are.

Basically, we need a Dim Sum Restaurant similar to the one's in NYC or in LA. And please add the Pan-Friend Taro cake to the menu as well.
