If integrity and morality are important to you do not go to this studio. Steve Knight, co-owner and husband to the other co-owner, Sally Knight, has single handidly ruined the live of three families. His own, a studio staff member, and a household staff member. He had long term affairs with both of them and then when he was through with them he fired them both. Please do not visit this studio until Steve has been fired. My heart goes out to Sally.

I went to two or three classes here, and find it to be a fad practice from Los Angeles or New York. Having taken classes for over a decade and taught, I did not come to this studio as a newbie. Yoga is NOT simply about the physical practice or the physical experience. It has seven or eight layers of practice, and it is difficult to access any of them when you are absolutely distracted by the ridiculously extreme heat and humidity, not to mention the disgusting amount of sweat hitting you from all sides. As always, ignore the show offs at the front, and be sure to object when the male teachers get a little too concerned about helping you find your pelvic alignment. This hot yoga crap cannot go out of fashion fast enough.

Too crowded and humid - Great staff but the "hot" Yoga room is too crowded and humid and the room needs to be ventilated better. The smell is strong!!

I have just started Yoga and so far have attended about 16 classes at Yogaone, I can definitely say that it is a wonderful studio. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and the instructors and assistants help you continue to go deeper into the poses and continuously challenge you to go deeper or try a more advanced pose. I love Yoga one and the heat helps you to detox and open up your muscles.I do agree with everyone on the fact that you need to get their early to get yourself prepared and get a parking spot--and remember to hydrate..94 degrees is hotter than you think when your doing Yoga!

I went to Yoga One wanting to try a new yoga experience out and find a studio that fit my spiritual growth needs. I was pleased by the friendly staff and a few very generous students. Upon walking into the room I was hit by a wall of humidity. The class was packed already so I took an available marked spot on the floor. During the class the instructors were great to help myself and others in the poses. I went because the class advertised being for all skill levels but I felt that 1/3 of the class was for much more advanced students. With little room to navigate I tried to attempt the advanced poses the best way I could without success. There should also be a disclaimer as to the amount of hydrating you need for this practice. After leaving I did feel rejuevenated somewhat but more so I felt disgustingly sweaty not only from myself but others sweat around me. I cannot justify the price of this studio when there are other venues like Charlotte Yoga Club that cost 3x as less for more intimate experience.

I was apprehensive when I was looking for a yoga studio. Upon arrival at yogaone, I was drawn in by the wonderful smells and sounds and sights of happy yogis and yoginis coming from and going to the studio. The staff are warm and inviting, helpful, and knowledgeable. All the instructors at yogaone are excellent and committed to total body wellness and awareness.

Yogaone is hot vinyasa yoga...
Just as other reviewers have stated- arrive early so you can get a spot. Also- make sure you are hydrated when you go- you will detox your body (you will sweat a lot)! Christine Navarro is my favorite instructor.

This studio is a hidden oasis off of Central Avenue. Very welcoming staff and the steamy rooms get packed so get there early! You will walk away feeling like you have gone to counseling, had a massage and worked out all in 1 hour.
