Grand Asia Buffet

My wife and I have been eating here for at least (3) years, during both management teams. The food is excellent, and the sushi included on the buffet is by far the best of any buffet in the area. Trust me on this, we have tried them all. You can find my wife there every Wednesday night, and the occasional Sunday, we just love it. I agree with Tom, rival restaurants in the area must be writing the negative comments, to me Grand Asia is top notch. A note to the rival restuarants in the Raleigh area, keep trying you may get there someday. Keep it up Grand Asia, your restaurant rocks.

The recent negative review that was written must have been written by a rival restaurant. I know the owners and their refrigerator door finally gave out and needed replacement. Being a custom job it took a month. The owners and staff are very conscientious about excellent service and high food quality. The other negative review I saw about the management was before the new management took over in February. The Grand Asia Buffet serves the best Chinese Buffet in the Raleigh area, has the friendliest service, and it's not fair for a rival to post untrue criticisms.

Yes, i love the sushi there, last week i still go there to see is open or not. i go to back door of the grand asia buffet, i asked the men, who take care the grand asia buffet cooler and freezer, i ask them why it been close, and then those people said:" is the cooler and freezer to old. it been use like 20 years. the owner want to change. they want the food to be fresh to serve for customer. Raleigh Refrigeration and Ken service take care it. They are never making any body sick.

They were closed yesterday due to a poor health department score. Do NOT go there if they do re-open - not a good idea! Don't want to get sick.

They have a history of poor health department scores too.

We love the Grand Asia Buffet for its variety. My husband gets all the funky stuff like crayfish and kimchee and I get a mix of sushi and stir fry dishes. The kids love the basic Chinese food like lo-mein. We all love the apple pie, doughnuts and ice cream. We love how they take coupons, although they are very well priced to start with. We have never encountered rude staff of any kind. No, the food is not of the quality of say, Peking Palace, but its not of the same price either. Grand Asia fits well into our regular restaurant rotation!

Been there twice. Thought since the first time was during their grand opening and was so awful, we'd give them another try.

Not exactly friendly staff, cold food that was supposed to be at least warm, food was dried out like it had been cooked hours earlier, rude manager.

And not kid-friendly at all.

This is my favorite Chinese buffet in the Raleigh-Durham area. They have a great selection, and the food is really good. Their crab rangoons are so yummy, and the rest of the choices are fantastic! The waitstaff is always very friendly and loves our daughter. A definite recommendation from me!

one of my friends brought me there, I didn't expect too much. They have a wonderful sushi bar, which is never seen in any buffet. Food was better than similar resturants, worth to try
