Beautifully decorated restaurant perfect for a night out with friends or a date.
For a date I recommend getting the private booth. If you want to relax you can hang out in the patio and smoke some hookah.
If you want to have some good times with friends, go Friday or Saturday night when DJ plays all night.

We had reservations for a party of 8, and after sitting down waited for a full hour before a hooka was available. We were told that Ibiza's was out of hookas, even though the place was only about half full. Since we were at a HOOKA BAR for the hooka experience, this was very annoying. In the meantime we payed for a few overpriced drinks.

Eventually (20 minutes later) the drinks came, and, as noted, a FULL HOUR AFTER SITTING DOWN a hooka finally showed up. By that time most of the party was about ready to go, so we asked for the check.

During the entire 90 minutes we sat down, the waitress -- not a particularly personable server -- came by about three times. On the check was an auto-gratuity of 20%. For excellent service this would be acceptable, but this was sub par service to put it kindly.

Lots of money -- terrible service. Not worth it. At all.

We went to Ibiza, looking forward to trying an array of tapas. Although the food was pretty good, the service was poor. We were willing to give an average tip since the poor service was somewhat balanced by the good food, but when we got the bill and saw it was too high we realized they had automatically given themselves almost a 20% tip. We looked through the menu and found buried at the bottom of the last page, which is not a page that is likely to be seen, there was a note that a 15-20% gratuity would be automatically added. I have no idea who decided they deserved the top tip (it was not the late-night time period where everyone pays 20%), but it was not us. To top it off, when getting the credit card bill we noticed that the total amount including the tip was in the "price" line and the tip line was empty, which left it open for a poor unsuspecting person who is not tracking the amount to give them a second tip on top of the high one they already added. Given their rules, we signed the bill after lowering the amount on it to be a 15% tip, which should have been acceptable since it was within their required range. We got our charge card bill the other day and found out they had charged their original 20% tip instead - essentially they billed us an amount that we had not agreed to pay.

We will never go back to this restaurant.

We made reservations for Ibiza since we had never been there and wanted to try something new. The atmosphere is gorgeous, especially the booths with the curtains, I'll give Ibiza that. We called in for reservations and even made them online and when we got there they had no idea who we were. Although we were promptly seated by a server, it took literally 15 minutes for us to get a greet and drink order. They were not busy at all and we had to poke our heads out of the curtain several times to finally get someone's attention. We ordered drinks FINALLY, and didn't even have them served to us by our original server because he was off taking a smoke break or picking his nose probably, because we were his only table yet he was too busy to even serve us our drinks. Ten more minutes go by and we are ready to order food and he still does not return to ask us if our drinks are ok, or get an appetizer order. He checks on the booth next to us but passes us by AGAIN, so we finally go to the bar and ask someone to get the drink check from our server. The server angrily asks us, "What's up," and we tell him we are leaving and just want to pay for drinks. I don't know if service is so poor here because they automatically add 20% gratuity or what. We have a him a pity tip and went to Divan, which we should have done in the first place. Ibiza is the first and only restaurant we have ever walked out of. I just don't understand how lacking this place is considering it was not remotely busy when we were there (there were three other tables).

I'm a HUGE fan of tapas, since I can never make up my mind when presented with a menu with more than 6 items on it, so I had heard about Ibiza. I'm also a huge fan of mediterranean food, so I was intrigued, but on my visits to Atlanta I've never gotten here. It was suprising to me when my guy suggested Ibiza...he'd been there with friends...as the perfect spot for me to try. MAN WAS HE RIGHT!!!
First of all, the ambience is fab...totally the Arabian Night's theme, with silk curtained banquets, dim lighting, heaps of pillows, hookahs and modern arabic music...even on an "off" night (Tuesday) The hostess and the servers were exceedingly friendly...even on an "off" night, when there were no more than say 10 people in the place. The menu offers an amazing array of little dishes, with a mediterranean influence, along with specialty pizzas for the less adventurous...(I mean, come on, you can have pizza anytime...live a little) Everything we had last night was wonderful...babaganoush (not enough pita and they charge for extra...boo), baby lamb chops with a potato-pine nut mash and the chicken, tenderloin and shrimp combo (watch out for the sauce-its a harissa-and will lite you on fire if that's not your thing).
They have nightly specials as well-last night was "all-u-can-eat tapas", which on the menu-the selections didn't sound so appealing, but after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen, I'll def go back and try...on weekends they have a d.j. and belly dancers, so I'm sure the place rocks...did I mention that they have the best Sangria I've had outside of Barcelona...? Check it out!

The Mediterranean atmosphere was amazing. It was relaxing, beautiful and different. I like the way they made sangria, and food was delicious. It was a delightful evening. Yes I would definitely recommend them.

Ibiza is the most amazing restaurant that I have ever been to. The service was amazing from the second we walked in to the moment that we walked out. The servers that work there are very good looking. Our waitress Donya was so sweet and took great care of us. She recommended some great tapas and desserts for us to try. Everything we had was delicious. The atmosphere and the music there is also very compforting. My husband and i try to go there very weekend. After our dinner, we get a hooka and just sit back and relax. If you feel like going somewhere that has great service, food, and entertainment, then I definetly recommend Ibiza. Even if you just try it one time, you will absolutly love it.

A very nice restaurant with some good "tapas". They now have some pizzas that are also good.
Their service is efficient with some happy and good looking waitresses.
The booths are very nice for a dating couples, private and with some nice music on background.

I was concerned about going to Ibiza when I discovered they were owned by the Imperial Fez people and saw a number of negative reviews online about their service. But with some encouragement, I decided to give it a fair shake and took my mother for a birthday celebration there. I am very glad I did. From the minute we walked in, the manager Bourcha took excellant care of us. She was attentive and made sure our food came out quickly and that everyone was pleased. We arrived around 9pm and were treated to a cozy private curtained booth with pillow seating that made the evening seem different and fun. Though we didn't care for the pounding techno music the DJ played (after a while, even my ten year old felt the non-stop thud was driving her head rhythmically into her dinner plate!) we were very impressed when my dad asked the dj to change the techno sound and he graciously with a smile did so immediately and even
followed up at our table to be sure the new background music was acceptable to our dining experience. The cheese plates were excellant, and as we are serous seafood afficionados, we were all quite impressed with the quality of the coconut shrimp as well as the clams and mussels. Not so great: the paella and spicy almonds, but you can't win them all.

Special note must be made that while Flamenco dancers were scheduled to perform, apparently they simply failed to show up the nite we were there. So the manager arranged to have belly dancers from next door perform as a fill in. All in all, it was a lovely nite, with good food, good service and unique, pleasant ambience. A great place for a girls nite out (especially with the fortune teller in the corner!) and lively fun music and performers.

My father and his wife were visiting from out of town and they wanted to see flamenco dancers. First of all, during the almost 2 hours that we were there, the flamenco dancer performed for only 15-20 minutes. Why bother saying you have flamenco dancers is they hardly perform? Very disappointing. We waited for almost 10 minutes to even be greeted by a server after we were seated at out table, and that was only because we flagged one down and asked for some service. The food was decent but the busboys did not know which dishes belonged to which tables, when they arrived with dishes, they didn't even know what dishes they were holding. Drinks were very expensive, a glass of the house merlot was $12 and it wasn't even good. Our waitress only visited our table 3 times, she was also working as a bartender. They charge you for soda refills, what a rip off. I have no idea why people come to this place, it was a HUGE disappointment. The waitresses were constantly standing by the bar talking and dancing, not checking up on their customers. It was very empty when we walked in, now I know why. I will never be back, I could have received better and more attentive service at McDonald's.

First of all, they force you to use the valet, which never use for my own reasons. The place is far too small and the tapas are small and are of poor taste. The place has a putrid smell of old upchuck or poor mop water...really bad. On top of this, prices are higher than expected for such a hole in the wall. I wish I never had this experience as it was totally disgusting. Please do yourself a favor and do not support this incredibly terrible place.

This was a VERY bad experiece. I have been to Ibiza 3 times. The first time it was great, I was mezmorized by the lush couches, colorful decor and friendly staff. The second time I was celebrating my M.A. graduation and it was a full house and full of salsa dancing, hookas, and laughter. This last time was HORRID! I took some friends who had never been and bragged all week and on the way there. Noone was there and I was wondering about this since I had been reading some bad reviews about it when I went to look for the address. I didnt necessarily care because i was thinking well I had a blast so what the heck. I got there and was seated and served by the manager a short African American lady with short brown hair(what a B-Word). I asked her to explain the menu and she would not. We finished our drink before our food came(it took forever) and she didnt offer any refills. When I asked for one she replied, "its not free". I had COKE people...COKE! Then, she walked off before I could respond saying "excuse me" This is the manager okay! Finally I received our tab and she charged us 20% grautity. Did I mention that it was 3 of us? WTF did she deserve from not explaining the menu, walking off of me, not offering a refill FREE, water, or checking on us. NO ONE was there why couldnt she check on us? Then I said to her (pointing to the gratuity) "this must be optional, we will just pay our meal and the taxes and determine the gratutity on our own" she replied, "no its mandatory look at your menu" and walked off again. I followed her (crazy right) and said in the menu it says 15-20% so we want to pay $15. She did not respond changed the gratuity to 15% and came back with change 2 dollars short! YES, she had taken it anyway. I know she didnt think for one second I could not count, think, or become physically aggressive. Long story shorter I got the rest of my change without assalting her and will NEVER GO BACK!

We just moved into the bldg next to Ibeza, and decided to celebrate our move by going for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. Should have known to avoid the place when it was nearly empty. First off, the table was a sticky mess and I had to ssk the waiter to wipe it down after he still hadnt cleaned it upon taking our food order. We both ordered martinis (10$ for Smirnoff vodka) and a gin martini arrived without olives and with WAY too much sweet vermouth. We later learned (from the neighboring table who also sent back a drink) that the bartender hadnt shown up so the manager [with no bartending experience] was making drinks. When we mentioned the problem with the drink to our waiter he replied "So what do you want me to do to it?". Could have forgived this if the food was good, but no such luck there either. Coconut shrimp (8.50 for 6) were obviously frozen and burnt on the outside. We were served the tapas without any plates, napkins or silverware...and had to wait 10 minutes until the waiter came back to get any! Mediterranean "Platter" (13$) consisted of 2 bite-size grape leaves, a dallop of hummus and baba ganoush, and two bize fallafel that were cold, overly spiced and mushy. (Also we were charged extra for requesting addl pita!). I handed the waiter my credit card as he brought the check and he brought me back my credit card slip but no bill. I asked him when he came back, and he told me that it 'wasnt customary to give the bill if the credit card had already been run through'. I finally received the bill and discovered that he had added 20% gratuity for 2 of us, and claimed that because it was after midnight (it was 12:05 when he came over). Im guessing he figured by charging us tip and then just giving the credit card slip to me (which had a spot for tip to be added!) he would get a higher tip for his non-existant service...
Bottom line is DO NOT GO HERE!

I went with my boyfriend on a Friday night and had a horrible experience. We just wanted to eat tapas and smoke Hukkah. 45 minutes after ordering the Hukkah it didn't arrive (what were they doing building the pipe?) The hostess was very friendly but our waitress was absolutely rude and mind numbingly slow. I am not picky .. I don't require wait staff smile and make meaningless conversation so it takes alot for me to be as dissapointed as I was with Ibiza ( you can't even express your dissapointement with a tip as gratuity is mandatory and included in the final bill............Since when are you required to show your gratitude?) (tip to Ibiza ownership ... Gratuity = a gift given without claim or demand). We decided to finish are drinks and run out of there. Nice decor, nice crowd.... but overpriced and terrible service. You would be better off at DIVAN which is where I decided to host my Best Friends birthday party 3 weeks later (I considered Ibiza before that experience). DIVAN was wonderful, Great food, Great drinks, the wait staff was very attentive and gracious. Additionally you will not sacrifice location, atmosphere, or taste by forgoing Ibiza and choosing DIVAN.

I was looking for a nice place to take my boyfriend on Sunday night and since we love tapas I thought we would try Ibiza. HUGE MISTAKE!

PROS: - Nice decor, private booths are nice to relax in

CONS: - Below average tapas and highly overpriced.
- Alcoholic drinks cost WAY too much ($13 for redbull & vodka?!?!?!).
- Service was VERY slow (this is a huge factor in my criticism as we were the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT!!).
- Wasn't served one of the tapas we ordered and another plate came out cold (again a huge factor as we were the only people there!!).

It seems from the other reviews on here that this might be a fun place if you're just looking to smoke a hookah or watch some dancers. But if you're looking for amazing food and service THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!! Some other places to try for tapas....Mitra, Eclipse di Luna, Fuego, ANYTHING BUT IBIZA!

Avoid this restaurant! High cost for mediocre food, service was bad and slow. The restaurant required a minimum 15 dollars for each meal and added 20% gratiuty for our party, although they deserve much less. The food was not worth the price. They brought out the plates one by one, so by the time one person was finished eating, someone else didn't even get their food. Same thing happened with the checks and it took a very long time to get out of there.

1st time coming here, all the reviews here on Citysearch prompted my girls and I to throw her Bday party at Ibiza. The place is real cool, love the decor, friendly service and intimate setting for everyone whether with your friends or a date. Entertainment was interesting, Music was GREAT & fits any crowd, drinks were good and the food could have been better portioned and a bit more warm. All in all this is a great place to lounge!!

This place was perfect for celebrating a girl friend's 21st birthday. The decor is bright and fun; we absolutely adored the little booths along the side of the restaurant. Each booth makes you feel like you are VIP. On weekends, the restaurant is very loud because of live music and tango dancers. So if you're looking for a quiet, romantic place to dine, this isn't it. The food (tapas) were delicious, range from Spanish/Latin to Italian/Mediterranean, so there is something for every taste. For my group of 7 girls, we ordered a variety of small plates, including the hummus/babaghanoush, calamari, steamed mussels, scallops, and bruschetta. I'd recommend all of those, as they are all fairly safe tapas to try. This place is slighty difficult to find, but it's right next to Imperial Fez (that should help you locate it more easily).

I'm glad a find out about this new restaurant serving tapas. It's a great place to come with a boyfriend and have some nice food and enjoy the night.
We recommend to make reservation on weekends. If you prefer a nice, quiet romantic dinner go during the week and get a private booth where you can enjoy each other.

I turned 40 on Friday and wanted to celebrate this milestone in a place other than in the usual night club. I found this restaurant via this site, read the reviews and made my reservations for one of the private rooms (holds 15) on-line via their direct website. I received a confirmation response within 12 hrs.

I knew we were in the right place from the moment we walked in the door. As for the private room, it was so comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Overall this is a very intimate and inviting restaurant. Of course all of my friends did not arrive at the same time but the server was very quick to take care of them as they did arrive. I must admit that she was one of the best servers I have ever experienced. We all decided mainly doing tapas. The food was quick to come out and everyone kept raving on how good each items tasted. The drinks were scrumptous. Whoever the bartender was that night can make a mean mojito!!!

As we were all leaving, everyone was extremely pleased with the selection and there were statements about going back, taking relatives there etc. Just last night I was telling a friend that we have to go there after work this week. The Imperial Fez was one of my favorite places but Ibiza is second to none. The owner is brillant!!

We went to Ibiza the first time a couple of days ago, on a saturday. We enjoyed the whole evening, the place is beatiful, the flamenco dancer was superb, it made the night even better. The tapas are wonderful, you should try.

Last friday I and my friends decided to go to Ibiza where we heard a lot of nice things about the food and decor. We arrived around 10:30pm, it was crowded, in the pattio people smoking hooka the, inside was full. It was good we have made resevation, a booth, where six of us seated in a nice cushions. We ordered sangria that was really good, everybody enjoyed the food. The DJ played several nice music, everybody was enjoying themself in the dance floor. If you want to forget about your stress I highly recommend to go there.

Very disappointing. We had vistors in town from Sevilla Spain. We drove an hour to visit this place specifically for the tapas, falmenco dancing and sangria. When we arrived at 11p the dancing was over.
We ordered sangria which was a joke. We saw them pour it out of a bottle...the kind you buy at the grocery.
Our server cut her hand and we never saw her again. We could not get any service. We literally had to beg to get our check so we could leave. We literally could have walked out with out paying. You could not pay be to go back to this place.

I've been to Ibiza several times, the food is always delicious, the waitress staff is always courteous. I have no complaings. If you like you can smoke hooka at the patio while eating one of their tapa, or you can have a nice drink at the bar.

I came to Ibiza a few months ago and recently I dined again and discovered a new menu. It's much better because they now offer well-portioned entrees as well as tapas. I loved the arabic music and the dancers! They servers are all gorgeous- who needs to go to a club? Around 11 -tons of people came to dance and drink. My friends and I decided to cancel our plans to go out after dinner and just stay all night! I recommend the kabobs and the peach mojito!

The first time I went, I liked the menu, but now they made a great improvement, it is a lot more complete. I had a couple of tapas and a main entree, shrimp kebob, everything was delicious. The private booths are perfect for a romantic date.

I and my girlfriends love Ibiza, a beautiful restaurant and delicious food. I recommend their sangria drink and my favorite tapa is the "croquetas de carne" but everything I tried taste really good. I also loved the salsa dancer presentation, it's really nice, I wish I could dance like they do.

Food and atmosphere is good, but service is BAD.
Last time when I went there, they double-charged with my credit card.
I called them twice and even talked with the manager but they didn't do anything.
I had to call my credit card company to take care of it.

This double-charge trouble happend to me and my friends three times there. Something is wrong with their credit card machine.

I never go back to this place.

We checked the review on line and we found more recomendation than non recommecomendatio to Ibiza, be took the chance and we were not sure that we did the right thing. When we got there, we were verywelcomed, seated in a short time, our reservation was honord, our food was good, we did not believe the way this place was desiged "the most beautiful atmosphere and very relaxing, we could not have wished for more. We smoked Hookah (we are not smokers, but did it for fun) it was really fun and quite an experience. we watched the show and danced the food off. a night to remmember. we will do it again and again. We met Hosam whom he is the manager and the most kind man you can meet. He made us feel that the place is ours and was checking on our table as well as other at all times to insure the quality service was given.ohhhh, it was well given to the fullest extent. Thank to Hosam

Ibiza is what Atlanta was missing and we are happy we discoverd such a place.
Its a shame that you can not please everyone and some people do not recommend it.

It is highly and extremely recommended

After having a great time at its sister restaurant I was excited to try Ibiza. I convinced a group o friends to go with me on a Saturday night after having made and confirmed a reservation for a booth. The restaurant however did not honor our reservations nor were they polite. My friends were highly disappointed and left while I remained with another person to try the food. We were seated at the bar and greeted by a very unfriendly wait staff after which we requested to speak to an owner/manager who wasn't very accommodating either. To give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt I went again. They did not honor our reservation (again), they were very rude and I was given a lecture by the owner about how they don?t take reservations for two, after they had already taken mine over the phone. I don?t recommend this place unless you want to receive bad service followed by a lecture.
I however did find a place that serves similar types of food and has hookahs in Decatur. (cafe Istanbul)
Avoid Ibiza at all costs. You will thank your self later.

They wouldn't honour reservations, they had horrible service, and even the manager was rude and not accomodating, when his staff makes mistakes, he doesn't make it right. He had no refills for his empty heaters on the patio when I came the first time, on a Saturday night, come on, be ready, it's Saturday night, and don't tell me it's your first restaurant and you need to adjust, you own the place next door, get it together.
As far as the food went, I glanced at their limited menu ( remind me of the happy meal ) and never got to try it, since they don't honour reservations, and won't give you a table.

If you're into S&M and like suffering for a long 2 hours, please go, you will have the worst experience of your life.

IF YOU NEVER TRIED HOOKAH'S TRY IT ON ME. IT IS FUN AND SO COOL. iTRIED ITFOR THE FIRST TIEM AND COULD NOT BELIVE THE FEELING.
WE WENT OUT ON A GUYS/GIRLS NIGHT OUT AND IT WAS THE BEST ONE YET. i LIKED THE SCALLOPS, KEBOBS WEHRE OVER SEASONED, DID NOT LIKE MY DESERT. NOT ENOUGH TO CHOOSE FROM. ANYWAY IT WAS OK.
THE PLACE FEELS LIKE YOU WOULD BE IN THE FOX THEATER OR BETTER. VERY LOUNGY, I LIKED THE MUSIC MIX AS THE DJ SPINS USING ALL KIND OF TUNES AND I SAW NIRE CULTURE DANCING THAN I HAVE SEEN IN THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL. IT IS SO COOL AND GOOD EXPERIENCE.

WE DANCED TO THE DJ TUNES, ENJOYED SMOKING THE HOOKAH, LIKE THE SERVICE VERY MUCH, GUTE WAITRESSES WITH A GOOD SMILE, THE CHEF TALKS TOO MUCH USING A LOT OF UNRELATED SUBJECTS AND NON SENSE B.S., BUT ANYWAY WHEN HE LEFT "JUST AVOID HIM YOU WILL BE FINE), WE WENT ON ENJOYING THE REST OF THE NIGHT. THE ONLY OTHER THING IS, I WAS DISAPOINTED THAT NON OT THE BEDS WERE AVAILABLE, BUT I WILL BE BACK WITH MY GIRLS FRIEND AND MY FRIENDS AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE I RESERVE THE BED ROOM. a shame... beautiful decor but horrible service. it pains me because i know the flamenco dancers and they work so hard only to be greeted with waiters carrying drinks right under their noses while they are dancing. a few weeks ago one of the dancers was about to begin her show when a very intoxicated 40-something proceeded to act like she was dancing flamenco so the dancer had to wait for her to finish her disgusting rendition in order to begin dancing. and the worst part: nobody does anything about it. have spoken to managers and owners plenty of times and the lack of respect continues instead of them stopping service for all of 3 - 4 minutes while the dancers do their numbers. not to mention the horribly long waits even if you have reservations and incredibly stupid, incompetent wait staff. ask them about a wine on the list - only if you want to see a deer in headlights or get the response of: "i've never tried it". and if you need to have your check separated get ready - this is something that stupifies them beyond rocket science. have had many fun times there but only due to the group i've gone with - we try to go support our fellow dancers but need many drinks in order to ignore bad service and lack of respect towards them. food isn't all that great either. have had MUCH better at many other places. just don't go. you're not missing anything.

This place is extremely chic and energetic at the same time. The private sitting areas are one romantic place to be at a date on! The menu is limited yet, versatile enough to try a few new things. Go here on friday nite to watch the salsa dancers warm up the floor. They even dance with you, if you are gutsy enough to keep up!! Make reservations, when going during wkends!!

After seeing Ibiza on the list of new places to try in atlanta i was very excited to check it out. The menu looked promising, as did the reviews. I made a reservation for 8:30 pm. When i checked in with the hostess she said it would be about 10-15 minutes, and that my table should grab a drink at the bar. That was fine, perfectly normal for a restaurant. We however, still did not have our table an hour later after speaking to the manager as well as her multiple times. While we were asking about our table to the manager, he was completely rude and disrespectful to my entire table. Not only did he yell at me for being concerned that we had not been seated an hour after our reservation, but he told me I was being immature for being upset about this instance, and then he threatened to kick my entire table out of the restaurant multiple times for being upset about the long wait even though we werent causing a scene. We sat down an hour and 20 minutes after our planned reservation, and the manager preceeded to come over and attack us. We left the restaurant immediately before we ordered. This is the worst place I have ever been. Not only do they not understand service, but they do not understand how to run a business. DO NOT GO.

This place is best when enjoyed on a weekend with the dancers ... it's pretty dead on a week night, in my experience. I

went on a date here and had a great time enjoying tapas, wine and the hookah! A totally fun way to spend an evening with someone special.

But the second time I went was with a big group. We sat inside, they totally messed up our order, and the bill was outrageous! It might have been worth it if there had been salsa or flamenco to keep us entertained. But it was pretty dead in there and the only eye-candy we had were the cutie waiters.

I recommend it ... but only on a weekend night or to smoke a hookah with a hottie!

After having a WONDERFUL meal at 5 Seasons for our 10 year anniversary we headed down to Ibiza for flamenco, hookah and a couple of cocktails. I called ahead to ensure that they would be able to handle a party of 7.

We arrive <a few minutes late> but they kindly held our table for us. We sat right up front near the stage. Flamenco dancers on the stage, we got some water.. but the waiter didn't come back until the flamenco dancer was off the stage..so we sat.. quickly losing our buzz... when finally he comes by and takes our drink order.

the flamenco dancers never reappeared.. Instead the dance floor was pulled up, reggaton starts blasting and a crowed of drunk 40 something?s are dancing and bumping into us.

ARRGGH

ok..time for a hookah.. our waiter is NO where to be found, so we head to the FREEZING patio <i was assured when i called that it would be plenty warm with their heating system outside> we sat for a few minutes <5> we requested 2 hookahs from two separate waiters <neither of them our own>. After 10 minutes and frost-bite we moved back inside. our waiter found us "he thought we left"

another 20 minutes and the hookah's arrive

they were good, but only had one pipe..so sorta tough to share 7 ways..

the bill comes

and i have a minor coronary event--- $35 for sangria + a 20% tip !!.. sh** on a shingle <yes we tried the hummus,> --- that freaking sangria cost us $42... and the SERVICE was inexcusably bad :(

what a CRAPPY end to an evening.

needless to say,, we're not coming back we've been excited to try FEZ but knowing that they're the same owners.. I'll stay away from there as well.

We decided to check this place out on a casual date night, and enjoyed it very much. We smoked the Hookah (which if you don't smoke pls go easy!), and had a nice meal. I have been there a few more times since then and enjoyed it as well. The only down is that they stopped making the Tuna stuffed Pepper which was the BEST think on the menu. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

This place was great for a Friday night date. We beat the crowd at around 9:00 and sat on the patio to enjoy the hookah. The lamb and croques both impressed us. We were later surrounded by a birthday group who had just as much fun as we did. The service was polite, friendly, and knowledgable. We will be making another trip to Ibiza.

I have been to Ibiza pre-"grand opening" and post-"grand opening" if there is such a phrase, and I don't understand how it has received a 8.9 rating. I have had only 1 menu item that was decent, out of almost all the items, not counting olives and 'fried' almonds because they can't screw that up unless they open an expired jar or can. I go to support friends and really try to eat before I go there, so that should tell you something.

It's fun to dance Sevillanas occasionally there, but this place is seriously lacking right now. Drinks are okay, as long as you stick to simple ones. Their mixed drinks are overpriced and not that great. The sangria tastes like a bad mix and then they add a cinnamon stick to hide it.

Service is always 50/50, either you get a good server or you don't. There is an attitude at times. Check splitting will cause your servers eyes to glaze over, so groups be warned.

As far as Flamenco, it pains me to say it because I know the dancers, but this is NOT the place to see it. There is only one dancer worth seeing, Gloriela, as the others are still very green and have limited expression at the moment. (I think they are just trying to hear the music and remember the choreography for now.)

Maybe one day it will all come together and get better, but for now Id say try it if you must, but there are better tapas in Atlanta to be had.

If you like to eat tapas, to smoke hookah and you're not too shy to dance in front of people while they're eating their dinner, this place is for you! Their choice of music is interesting: salsa/arabic/belly dancing kinda music. My friends and I liked it, though it was very loud(impossible to talk to each other) and hot.
