I'm a graphic design student at a very well-known art and design school here in Atlanta. I went to Kinkos today (it was the only printing place open) to print off a project/design I had been working on all week. All i needed was for them to *help* me print it on an 11 x 17 sheet of glossy or matte photo paper. I've been in to kinkos plenty of times, enough to know that their computers that are open to the public don't pick up my external hard drive for some odd reason. I told the employee this and they refused to listen to me. So, i wasted my money trying to pull up my ext. hard drive on the computer that i already knew wouldn't work. I proceeded to tell the employee to please let me print from behind the counter, i had done it before. The guy was NOT busy and proceeded to tell me that i was probably doing something wrong on the other computer. I work in the apple store as a mac specialist. My knowledge with computers is pretty darn good and this guy kept belittling me while huffing and puffing because now he had to lift his fingers to hook up my hard drive to the computer so he could print something for me.\r\n\r\nSo, after all that he asked me when i would need my print. I told him within the next 10 - 15 minutes because that's what kinkos usually does. He pointed out a small sign sitting on the counter and said to me very rudley ""Umm you might want to read our sign"". (not very professional). The stupid sign said that my print wouldn't be available for up to 5 to 24 hours. Which is absolutely RIDICULOUS because kinkos' quality print isn't even that good (i was just there for a last resort) AND apparently this is a new policy created within the past 2 days!! I mean come on! He couldn't just print 1 freakin' copy!! I was one of the 2 customers in the store!! It was by no means busy.\r\n\r\nOverall, kinkos = BAD service, BAD equipment, BAD quality and just plain out BAD. I'm never going back there again.
