I recently visited Sunny Miller for a male waxing. Since I was a bit apprehensive about the whole process, I emailed Sunny my list of concerns beforehand and she addressed each one perfectly. My experience was top notch and Sunny was patient, courteous, professional and funny. I'd recommend Sunny and Adara to anyone who is considering waxing for the 1st time!

I just got back from receiving a male Brazilian wax or as they call it a "boykini." It was my first one professionally done and i didnt have a single problem or complaint. Sunny did an awesome job through out the whole process. Desiree was not sure on how to perform Brazilians on guys so i was politely asked if i minded that she joined Sunny and I so that she could watch and learn. I said i didnt have a problem with it and think that it actually helped the experience because she could hold the fan. On top of all that i had called 30 minutes before hand and asked if there was any open appointments and Sunny gladly said that she had an opening at 1:30 so it worked out great. Cant wait to get home and show my wife!

When I came into work on Monday I showed one of co-workers the botched highlighting job I had done using a store bought kit over the weekend. She immediately sat down at her computer to make me an appointment with Amanda, her hair stylist/colorist, for later in the week. I went into Adara with a pretty bad dye job and hair that was desperate for a good cut and style. Amanda was able to take care of both and I am now very pleased with the result and feel it's well worth the extra money over doing it myself and going to quicky / cheap walk-in chop shops. Ladies, leave these things up to the professionals! You?re worth it and the ladies at Adara will take good care of you. Amanda - thank you and I'll see you in 8 weeks :)

Pros: Cozy and personable, not huge and corporate. The complimentary soda was a nice touch too!

Cons: A little pricey compared to my normal store bought products and $10 hair cuts....it's worth the extra $ if you can swing it

sunny was great! it was my first time getting wax in the nether-region so i was a little nervous but she put me at ease right away. There was never an uncomfortable moment and she was really professional. I will defiantly being going back again!

I've been getting my hair cut by Amanda for 5 years. I followed her to Adara Spa, and love it! It is a great location, small and intimate, and everyone is really kind. Amanda has cut my hair, and done highlights. I always leave happy with the new 'do. Recently, I got brave and had my first bikini wax by Sunny, and continued with waxing throughout the summer. Sunny is wonderful at what she does. She puts you at ease, it really isn't that painful, and the results are terrific.
And, you can make appointments online, which is so easy and convenient. Go to Adara Spa, you won't be disappointed!

OMG I have had the best experiences at this spa! They offer so many services that I don?t need to go any where else. Alyssa?s massages will put you to sleep and you wake up so refreshed! I bought Gift Certificates for my family to get the same great treatment. They are open everyday except Sunday and you can go online and make your reservation or call them. Most cohesive group of works I have ever met to ensure a relaxing atmosphere. Once you go there you won't go anywhere else!

I've been to Adara Spa twice to receive a Brazilian wax by Sunny. From the moment I walk in, everyone is so wonderful. Sunny has always been very punctual and friendly.
I've had a Brazilian wax before but it had been several years. So I was quite nervous. But Sunny put me completely at ease. The second time that I went in I was so much more relaxed. I can't imagine going to anyone else. And I live 30 miles away, but the drive is worth it!
I also loved that I was able to easily set up an account to set up and change appointments online. I usually think of making an appointment (or changing it) after a place is closed. So this was perfect for me.
I've told all my friends about Adara Spa and Sunny. If you've ever considered getting a Brazilian wax or anything else, ask for Sunny. She is amazing!

Pros: Great location, wonderful staff that are caring and knowledgeable!

In a frantic search for Raleigh's perfect waxing service, I stumbled upon the rave reviews of Adara Spa. My call was greeted with genuine courtesy, and they were extremely flexible with scheduling my appointment for the same day, even going so far as to take into consideration the distance I would be driving to make the appointment.

When I got a bit turned around in the parking area, the same bright lady helped me find my way into the building, even answering the phone this time with my name; and extremely personal and hospitable touch. You can tell these ladies really want to make their clients feel special, even before you walk in the door.

The facility is very clean, warm and inviting, with enough privacy for clients, and plenty of sunlight. I was greeted warmly by Sunny, who was apparently not only the kind woman on the other end of the phone, but the lady who would be providing my waxing service. Sunny was not only professional, she was extremely precise and also wanted my input as we went along with the removal. She was extremely accommodating. Her method of waxing is nothing like the painful strips I was used to ( and lived in fear of ) with my visits to other salons in the past. I have extremely sensitive skin and I have felt not the slightest bit of irritation or soreness since 10 minutes after leaving the appointment. Sunny really knows what she's doing; I highly recommend her to the woman who wants perfection, who insists upon high sanitation, who enjoys banter with an intelligent well travelled woman, and above all appreciates service with real working women, as opposed to the often times sterile, boring 2 dimensional providers at other salons.

This place, and these ladies are top notch. I'm so tempted to purchase my girlfriends gift cards to this place for the holidays, and I very much look forward to returning.

I love one-stop shopping. I can go to Adara and have Amanda get the knots out of my hair and then have Alyssa get the knots out of my back. They are both great at what they do - expert, professional, and very friendly. I always leave there feeling relaxed no matter how tense I go in.

You say, "Yes?" So you are looking for an honest hair stylist that will not steer you wrong?

Amanda is the gal for you!! She helped me soften my image, yet kept an edginess to the cut more suiting my personality. You see, Amanda "reads" people very well, while still being kind. Further she is straight forward, yet funny. A hard combination to possess, much less discover! Yet there she is at that cute little Adara Spa.

Honesty and strength of character mean a lot to me. Amanda has it all. In spades.

So give yourself a treat: Go see a REAL stylist. Visit Amanda and tell her, "Roeger sent me!!!". You will find she has a great laugh as well!

Pros: Easy to access, good parking. Flexible hours, friendly staff.

Cons: Unfortunately , one still has to pay!!! (Just kidding).

I got the warm stone massage with Alyssa, and it was sooo relaxing! She is very friendly and professional, and put me right at ease. I had never gotten a stone massage before, and LOVED IT! It is highly recommended :)

I have been to a lot of stylists in Raleigh. I never quite found what I was looking for, so I ended up doing my own hair for years. My long time friend recommended I go to Katherine. She has cut and colored my hair several times now. She listens to my wants and needs and I feel comfortable taking her recommendations. I would highly recommend visitng Katherine. She is a great stylist!

I went to Adara Spa for my first brazilian wax and it went wonderful! Sunny Miller was very professional, but made it easy for me to relax and feel comfortable. She was also great about listening to my concerns and answering all of my questions, and making me as comfortable as possible! If you are thinking about waxing ANYTHING I would definately recommend going to Adara Spa with Sunny Miller! I also found the prices very reasonable and the services offered extensive! I plan on going there for all of my spa needs from now on.

Sunny Miller is one of the only LCN reps in this area. Nails are done with gel and are just the best. They don't break and I always get great compliments on how well my nails look. I would recommend Adara Spa for hair as well as love the color and cuts I get from Amanda, Awesome spa!

I would like all of the Triangle to come to Adara Spa. I have been getting my nails done from Sunny Miller for over 4 years. She is not only a great friend but very professional, and an excellent nail artist. I call her an artist because it is an art. I get compliments all the time, even after it has been 3 weeks. Sunny is the best. Please go and experience what I experience.

Adara Spa has a homey atmosphere and professional staff. I have been getting my nails done there ever since they opened nearly two years ago. My nails always look good and I am always getting compliments on them. I recommend Adara Spa without hesitation to friends who want to have their nails done. The pedicures are a great way to relax and give yourself a treat! It is a great example of a small business that has grown from one person to five and has diversified from just nails to hair and massage.

Been going to Amanda for 7 years now, and she is the best stylist in Raleigh. Heck, she's the best in the world!! I even flew back to Raleigh while I was living in Paris so she could cut my hair. She's done my hair curly, straight, long, short, blond, brown and red, and every single time it looks great. Go see her!

Great place to have your nails done. It's small but a very relaxing and my nails have never looked as good. It's also a great place to have a massage. Ask for Alyssa. She's the best! All the girls there are very professional and you don't feel as if you are run in and out like a herd of sheep!

I've been getting my nails done at Adara Spa now for a few months and I'm extremely happy...very comfortable and clean environment, the ladies are so much fun to talk to, and my nails look great! I finally found a salon that can do gels in a really natural looking way!

I had the best manicure and pedicure ever! I am very pickie when it comes to the sanitation with Nail Techs, and this Nail Tech I didn't even have to question myself, she was very santary and very professional. She made sure that I was well taken care of and made me feel comfortable! I will come back to see her! She was great and she did a great job! I believe her name is Desiree and she is outstanding! I would highly recommend her!

I am always nervous about getting my haircut. I am often told I am a "trouble" client of sorts-my hair is too thick and I have A LOT of it. I have never received a cut or style that I was 100% satisfied with UNTIL I visited Adara Day Spa. I never imagined my hair could look so good and be so manageable. My stylist was Catherine and I HIGHLY recommend her to ANYONE looking for a long-term professional or just a quick cut. The atmosphere was relaxing and tranquil and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and make me feel accommodated, they even provided a glass of wine while I waited. ADARA SPA IS A 10 IN MY BOOK!!!

I just moved to the raleigh area in January and was looking for a new place to get my hair styled. I was helped by a young lady named Catherine, and there's not a lot than can be said, other than WOW! The girl is a miracle worker. I was a little unsure at first, because she was not my usual girl, but the second she got to work, I felt relaxed and reassured in her abilities, or was it just her smile? Best cut I've ever had, and I'll definetely be recommending her to all my friends. Plus, they carry Pureology haircare products!!!!

Forget all the huge, impersonal, don't-even-know-your-name spas in Raleigh. I just loved the girls at Adara Spa. It is such quaint, cozy and personable place. I had the best manicure and the most indulgent pedicure I have ever had. And they are VERY reasonably priced for the treatment yo get. A hot stone massage from Alyssa is a must. It is small but very well appointed with tons for parking. Check this place out!!
