Have eaten here three times. Once in 2006 for a family celebration of selling the company. We were wanting to celebrate. We bought big wines, big food....big check.....But we were very disappointed in the service. LImping along but not where they needed to be. Two steaks were overcooked. I felt for the money, it was a big disappointment. So we've not been back, until.... a few weeks ago, early Dec 2009, for my son's 18th birthday, at his request.
I was not looking forward to it....BUT It was a completely different experience. Awesome.
Great service; the waiter knew the menu, knew the
wines...very helpful, available and everyone's food was perfect.
So...I was back in last week and ate in the bar area. Great bartender and waitress.
I wish I'd not waited 3 years to return!
Great job Perry's at Champions

My wife and I have been to this location once. It was an enjoyable experience. My wife & I both had the steak and cheesecake dessert. The waiter was exceptional. He allowed us to converse without many interruptions. He was always on the spot for drink refills or for any additional needs. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Get there early as it tends to get crowded.

The first time I had ever stepped foot in a Perry's was January of this year for my Birthday Dinner. I was getting over the flu and I thought the flu was making me delusional. How could this be? This fabulous place was just a couple of miles from my home, and I had never tried it. To say the least, my first experience at Perry's was wonderful. I had the Filet Perry's with lumped crab meat, and it was absolutely the best I had ever had. Don't get me wrong, I have traveled a fairly decent amount in my 30 years, but nothing compared, EVEN SW in the Wynn..... If you are looking for a wonderful steak, you have got to try this for yourself. It is a bit costly, but for a treat, you can't beat this place. The wife and I frequently visit now, we try to go once a month. Try the piano bar at the Cypresswood location, it's an experience all in its own. The wife does not like seafood, so she gets the Filet Perry's and the chef just adds her crab to my plate, so each and every time, I am in HOG HEAVEN!!!! If you happen to find yourself wishing for a little desert, try the Banana Fosters, it is wonderful, and they cook and serve you at your table. Happy Dining......

Pros: Wonderful Food

Cons: As one mentioned, yes it does tend to get a bit noisy.....

We have been dining at Perry's for many years. It has always been one of our first choice favorites. I have lived in this town since 1979... I have dined in the best restaurants this country has to offer.... no place is perfect every single time... but, Perry's comes close. The SugarLand location is our favorite... where you will often see Chris Perry. His Dad... the great butcher and an awesome gentleman--- and his Mom, a wonderful woman and often the designer of each Restaurant... were the two awesome people that started Perry's down on Scarsdale many years ago. Chris does a good job running the company. They do train their employees very well... but, all fine-dining restaurants could use re-training here and there. This economy is not helping these servers make much money.

The pork chop is the best around. Huge portion and easily the most popular dish. We enjoy taking clients to Perry's... they offer an outstanding wine list, and the chef will prepare special dishes with notice.
Do try the fried asparagas.... they are well know for this tasty dish... it is very different and always a treat!

Make sure and ask for a Manager if you are not getting first class service, and excellent food--- I feel certain that they will fix it and make you happy. We look forward to our next trip to Perry's. I love the fillet... not sure what they do to those steaks... but, they are always excellent. I think they are better than Pappas, Morton's or The Capital Grill. Maybe Frankie & Johnnie's in NYC can match their steaks.... maybe. They do a good job with fresh fish, as well. The creme brulee is to die for.

Enjoy!

Pros: Ambience and decor are excellent

Cons: Friday and Saturday Nights are loud and hard to get a reservation (SugarLand)

We have been to this restaurant about 4 times and I really thought hard before returning last night. I decided to give it another try. The food is very good, but the staff is ridiculous! I had reservations, but when we arrived, the table was not set. We had to stand around looking like idiots, waiting for them to throw on a tablecloth and candle. (Of course, no place settings or napkins!) Once seated, 3 people pounced on us for drink orders. Great! I thought to myself, they must have had some changes and the service would be good...WRONG! 10 mins later, out popped my martini, only to be sent back because the server couldn't figure out which table to serve :( Then they brought the Fried Asparagus (my fav) but no way to eat...remember no place settings. We did manage get more cocktails, but it took 4 times to order and about 15 mins. I really wish they could train their staff because the food is good.
