NMAC absolutely SUCKS. I financed a brand new car from them at 0% in 2010 and was on time with my payments up until recently after losing my job. I still pay them mind you, it's just split up into 2-3 payments per month instead of one. I

I think you other people who are writing reviews are being way to generous with your comments about NMAC. For the last couple of days I have trying to contact someone at NMAC about paying off my lease agreement, but can't contact anyone

I would never do business with them again, nor would buy Nissan. I feel that they hiring only people with IQ below ZERO. Customer service calls rerouted to Philippines. It would be ok, if they can at least speak English. Zero problem

Worst customer service ever. They posted 3 of my payments to the wrong account and then threatened to repossess my Rogue. My payments are made automatically every month from my bank account and have been handled the same way for 3 years.

I am sorry I am doing business with this company.

I purchased a Nissan three months ago. Every month I had to call to update my address. I am making my third payment today and again never have received any documentations nor invoices.
If I would have checked this website and these reviews, I would never have done business with Nissan.

This company is by far THE WORST! I have owned 6 Nissans and loved every one of them, but this company is horrible. Luckily only ONE is financed through these clowns.

For starters, they're website is vague and shows the least amount of information possible. To this moment I can??t even find my payoff! How can you operate a website this bad, and have the audacity to mention it on the phone? They either had limited funds to build the site with, or are just plain stupid. Nothing is convenient!

Secondly, charging a Five Dollar to Thirteen Dollar fee to make a payment is ridiculous! American Express, Key Bank and even GE accepts payments for FREE over the Internet!

Next, the automated phone system requires me to press ??1? for English. Do I need to remind you that I live in the United States and our country was founded on English. The Bill of Rights and the US Constitution was written in English. Not Spanish. I should not be inconvenienced here. A reminder?.I am the customer. Customers used to come first.

The automated phone system FAILS to tell me the TOTAL DUE and DUE DATE! This would be especially useful for accounts that have been overpaid (like mine) and nothing is due for the current month. It does tell me the last payment and payoff amount (which the website fails to do) but it needs to be more user friendly!

When I DID speak to somebody, they were in India! Need I say ANYTHING about this? Representatives in India are horrible! They read scripts and don??t have a clue about the accounts because they put you on hold while they ask somebody else or read some silly online reference. They are difficult to understand, because their dialect is impossible to understand! Then to finish the story, the phone connection stinks! You need to move your operators BACK to the US. Keep the jobs here. I, as a customer, am VERY dissatisfied.

Next, the website www.nissanfinance. is NOWHERE on my bill! The only website I see is www.nissanusa. com This website is for customers that want to PURCHASE a Nissan. Your finance company has me so frustrated, I am beginning to doubt I will buy another Nissan. I just MAY buy a Toyota or Hyundai next time around.

I sent a complaint letter to them, but it went NOWHERE! I asked that they please forward this to somebody in the corporate office and even forwarded it to 4 different people! There are just too many deficiencies with this company, and in a recession like today, Nissan doesn??t need bad PR.

I couldn't be guaranteed this letter reached them, and having fear of my letter getting tossed like most companies, I forwarded copies on my behalf to the Executive offices in Torrance and/or Gardena CA, to the attention of Norio Matsumura, Steve R. Lambert, and James C. Morton. God only knows who these people are, but I was about an inch from showing up at their office to share with them my concerns.

If you buy a Nissan, make certain with the salesman YOU WILL NOT FINANCE THROUGH THESE PEOPLE. Also, NEVER talk about payment amounts, negotiate on the PRICE of the car.

I recently turned in a truck lease after my husband passed away. The dealership led me to believe he was the only one on the lease and took the truck and told me when I got the bill to just fax over the death certificate. I did as they had suggested. To find out I was on the lease and now am expected to pay $8700.00. I had told the dealership I was not sure if I was on the lease and he assured me I was not. I would of kept the truck. Two weeks after my husbands death it is hard to remember what day it is more or less if I signed a lease. I trusted Quality Nissan of Temecula to help me thru this process but instead they have thrown me under the bus. I am left with a hugh bill, no truck, and no help from Nissan. The dealership was so helpful at first until they realized they had not followed procedures now I am left to deal with this mess...

I agree with all previous comments made about Nissans customer service in India. I dont blame them as they are outsourced, contracted company told little about the company they do work for. As they say, you "get what you pay for". May be these jobs will return to the USA, until then we all have to suffer and sweat. sad. Im now trying to reach nissan directly to move my issues as I am leaving the country and need to take my cars with me.

Yes, their customer service is in India and just terrible. For a month, we were given the same runaround over the phone as anybody else. But we were lucky enough to live a drivable distance from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp, so we finally went to the Nissan campus. We met with K** L****, who took our final payment and ensured us that we would receive the title within 5 business days. She even called to let us know that it had come in sooner, and we picked it up in less time. We were grateful to work with her. :) It turned out to be a very good experience with NMAC.

I have had the worst experience paying off my vehicle with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. You send your payoff check to Texas but, your title is in California and customer service is in India therefore they can't help you with anything. They pretty much tell you whatever they think will get you off the phone and I think they get a fee taken out of their pay check if they transfer you to a supervisor because no matter how many times you ask to speak with a supervisor they will ignore you and try to answer you question/problem. They will tell you one thing and then turn around and say something that is the complete opposite of what they just said (e.g. your title can not be sent via Fedex only regular mail, then after I already sent my payment, your title can only be overnighted via Fedex if you send a letter with your final payment). I am an easy going person but when you tell me that if I send certified funds via fedex priority overnight that it will be processed in one business day and it is now the fourth day and they haven't even mailed the title yet and they can't give me a reason why not it is extremely frustrating. The absolute worst experience!!!

I leased a vehicle from Nissan, was behind no more than two months on my payment. They repossessed my vehicle!!! What are my options? They never informed me of this, and I thought 90 days or longer was the norm instead of the exception!!! To top it off, had to have a cosigner, they are strong arming the cosigner for the difference of the vehicle's price after they wholesaled the thing. I was told since it was within the year of my original lease, they could get their money up front then press legal papers to get the money from me for the rest!!! What arrogance. After owning a Nissan/Infiniti for 20 yrs, that is how the treat customers!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! With the economy in its' sad state, and the automotive business having a tough time, one would think this company would be a little understanding. NEVER FINANCE THROUGH THESE BONEHEADS!

Do NOT finance your vehicle (or anything else, for that matter) with NMAC!!! I financed a vehicle with NMAC in 2004 and now, 5 years later, it is next to impossible to pay it off and get my title back.
I moved to a new location 9 months ago and at that time, I updated my address with NMAC. Since that time, I have received all my statements at my new address, and when I call their customer service line and am asked to verify my address I give my new address and it is accepted.

HOWEVER, I recently sent a certified check to pay off the remaining balance of my loan. I sent a certified check because I was told that was the ONLY way to get them to release the title without waiting 10 full days for a personal check to clear. So, I spent the $18 fee to get a certified check, and I sent it certified mail, so I know that it arrived on 5/13. Well, today is 5/28, and still no title. So I called today, and was told that the title was mailed to my previous address, in a completely different town (the one I changed 9 months ago). When I asked what they were planning to do about this, they informed me that I should call back in a week and ask if the title had been returned to them. They would not call me if it was returned, they would simply keep it. Cause that's legal, right??

So, there apparently are no other options but to simply wait and see if it turns up here or there. Even at that point, they weren't able to tell me what I could do. So much for sending a certified check via certified mail for safety. Now an important legal document pertaining to the ownership of the largest investment I've ever made in my young life is floating around God knows where, and there's nothing I can do about it.

As an added annoyance, their customer service stinks. If you call their customer service line, you can only talk to people in India who give you fake names and know a limited number of English phrases. They also have a huge tendency to interrupt and speak over you, and if you happen to ask a question that is outside their training manual, you get silence. I asked to speak to supervisors and got the same thing-- i think they just passed me down the line.

Bottom line, AVOID NMAC AT ANY COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
