Carpe Diem Private Preschool - Frisco

Carpe Diem is a WONDERFUL school and definitely the top in Frisco. I have had 2 children attend there and I could not be more impressed with the teachers, curriculum, cleanliness, and overall attitude of all the staff there. It is wonderful to have all food provided and not have to worry about packing lunches. It also gives the kids a chance to try a wider variety of foods! The Pre-K program is especially impressive. My child went to Kindergarten VERY prepared and set up to be successful in Elementary and have a love for learning and for school set up by Carpe Diem. I highly recommend this school!

We love Carpe Diem! Our three year old daughter has grown so much since attending. She not only comes home telling us all of the wonderful things she has learned (from Spanish class to computer class to music class), but also all of the wonderful relationships she has. She is high spirited, but the teachers there work with her to channel that energy into very positive learnings. We love Ms Stephanie and Ms Megan and could not have hand-picked better teachers. And the Assistant Director, Ms Amy has gone out of her way to answer any questions or concerns that I have had. They all seem to love each child and care for them as if they were their own!

Our daughter attended another preschool in Frisco and we were not pleased with their teaching methods or the friendliness of the staff. One of our neighbors recommended that we tour Carpe Diem. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in the door and so did our daughter.

The kids have centers, music, Spanish and computers every day. Our daughter is learning in an environment that she thinks is so much fun! Her teachers are always attentive and communicate well with us regarding how she did each day.

We are so glad that we found this school!

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful! We love the staff and the program! My daughter says good-bye to the school when we drive off. She loves being there! In the 3 year old class, they start spanish and computers along with all the other wonderful program they had at 2! No other school compares to Carpe Diem!

LOVE IT, LOVE iT, LOVE IT!!!!
ALL teachers know my daughter by name!! As soon as we walk in the door, they all say hi, and wave, and smile. This is the first school that my kid went to, she's been there for a year now, and i know that when she's there, i don't have to worry. In a year, she had learned sooooo much!!!

My wife and I learned the great news that we were expecting our first child, and it seemed that we were immediately reconnoitering daycare facilities. Um, honey babys not going to be here for, what, another eight months? Isnt it a bit too soon? It turned out it wasnt too soon, for we embarked on what turned out to be a long search for the perfect place for our baby. We slogged through many daycares, and soon all of them merged together in my mind. We saw a lot of nice places, but we didnt feel absolutely right about any of them. And then we visited Carpe Diem.

James, the director, met with us and answered all of our questions and we (OK, my wife) had a lot of questions! Then we took a tour of the school. The first thing we noticed was that, to our surprise, there were dozens of children there but not a single one was crying. Indeed, all of them were actively engaged in a meaningful activity led by the clearly hard-working staff. There were no children off in corners by themselves. Even the sleeping infants had staff members sitting next to them rubbing their backs.

Another thing that struck us about Carpe Diem was how clean everything is. I quipped to my wife, This place is so clean you could manufacture microchips in here! We saw a child drop a plate of food on the ground. There was no scolding; one teacher simply helped the girl get a new plate of food while another instantly descended on the mess with towels and disinfectant.

There were lots of neat little perks that made Carpe Diem irresistable: a solid security system, a computer lab (seeing computers on the little desks still cracks me up!), great indoor and outdoor play areas, polite and helpful staff the list goes on and on.

Dropping our first child off at daycare for the first time was, of course, difficult for us in all the predictable ways. But we are able to watch our baby on live webcams, and the teachers have been wonderful at keeping us apprised of his doings and coordinating things with us. The quality of the school has made transition to daycare relatively easy and almost (almost!) guilt-free! We couldnt imagine leaving baby anywhere else, and we highly recommend Carpe Diem to anyone. Save yourselves the eight months of looking around!

It would be impossible to list all the outstanding opportunities that Carpe Diem offers you for your family in only a few paragraphs, you can look that up on line. What you will not find on line is how much love and understanding your children will get at Carpe Diem in Frisco
We had our children enrolled in another program in Frisco before we came to Carpe; we were amazed at the turnover at this other school and the lack of accredited teachers on staff. Our daughter had three different teachers in a three month period due to turnover. We decided to take a tour of the Carpe Diem in Frisco as well as three other pre schools in our area. It took us less than three minutes to decide that Carpe was the right school for our two little ones. The number of teachers that had been with Carpe since the school opened was amazing and we are happy to say that three years later they are all still there. Our children still love to run into their old class rooms and see Ms. Inge from the two year old class, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Megan in the three year old class and Ms. Bobbi and Ms. Peggy in the Pre K class. Our daughter moved on the kindergarten this year and the only thing she cried about is that she was not getting to go to Carpe anymore and it was not fair that her brother still got to go there. Of all the great thinks we experienced at Carpe having our child love her school so much that she wanted to stay rather than move on to a big girl school told us we made the right decision when we choose Carpe Diem.
If you are looking for a school that will help your child grow and learn we strongly recommend Carpe Diem. As our children move forward in life we will always know that we selected the best place for them to start.

My children have attended Carpe Diem since they were 12 weeks old (one is now 3). My husband and I never have to worry when they are at school - we know they are happy, safe, and learning more than they could learn at home with me! The teacher ratio is excellent, and the turnover is very low. The children only change classes on an annual basis, which allows them to develop excellent relationships with their teachers and friends. The curriculum is well-rounded, while still incorporating fun/free play into the children's daily schedule. My 3 year old rushes me out of the house some days because he wants to go see his teachers. In fact, he just put his teacher on his birthday party invite list and she was higher on the list than mom!
