The first day we visited this business we were very impressed. The salesman (who also happens to be the manager) was very helpful & a good salesperson (he is such a great BS'er he would be a marvelous used car salesman). He told us that they had just acquired that location 2 weeks ago & that the previous owner only cared about money & had an F rating with the BBB. So they were trying to turn things around and provide tip top customer service. We ended up purchasing $2,000 worth of furniture for 3 rooms in our new home on 2.14

Then the trouble began....We were not told when the furniture would be delivered. We called on Monday 2.20 (6 days after placing our order & paying) to inquire about the delivery. We were informed that the furniture was scheduled for delivery on Thur between 3-5pm. My boyfriend explained that the time slot would not work b/c we both work FT & would not be home until 6pm. We were told they would try to arrange another delivery time & he would call us back. We never received a call back. We called several times to try and get a resolution to our issue only to be told that someone would call back. Each time WE had to call the store back.

Yesterday I was told that they would contact another customer to see if they could switch delivery times with me. They had to leave a message for that customer. My boyfriend called today to check the status and was told they are still waiting on that customer. This did not sit well with him. We should not have to be at the mercy of another customer when the business should have told us up front what their delivery days & times are. The employee has a smart mouth & this prompted by boyfriend to use a few foul words. I called the store a little while later & apologized for the behavior of my boyfriend. The employee's tone immediately changed when he realized who I was. He said that he couldn't do anything to help me if the other customer couldn't switch time and the manager is the one that would have to help me & he is off today. The employee was very rude and smart mouthed. I was very polite and continued to be so until the employee copped an attitude. I demanded that the manager contact me today. I received a call about 30 min later from the "manager" who when I answered the phone immediately raised his voice with me and then started yelling at me. He told me to be quiet & listen to him. He stated that he has done "EVERYTHING" he could to help us and that we received employee pricing and that the store made NO money off of this sell....(YEAH RIGHT!!!) He went on further to tell me that he is NOT going to have someone call & yell at his employees (I never even once yelled at the other employee!) and that he had to drive 20 miles to come in on his day off to "deal with me".

It is completely unprofessional for someone that "manages" a store to call a customer and tell them to "be quiet" that is the equivalent of telling someone to shut up!!! When I told him I wanted my furniture delivered tomorrow evening he told me that "I will NOT demand that he do anything for me". I have never in my life experienced such horrible treatment by a business.I am a very nice person who works in customer retention and I know how to handle myself professionally. Nothing that I personally did should have provoked this treatment by someone that is supposed to be providing customer service. They might want to look up the definition before they deal with their next potential victim.

We did end up getting our furniture on Thursday and they were there at 6pm on the dot. The delivery drivers were careful and courteous. I'm not sure if they came from the Mesquite store or the Rockwall store. The furniture is lovely and we are very happy with it. If only I could say the same for the customer service experience.

My wife and I are very pleased with the service. We came in on Saturday and they told us it would be in on Monday. They not only recieved on Monday, but they delivered it to us too! We will be back. Thank you, Furniture Deal!!!

Had a BAD experience with Rooms to Go, then this happens....
First of all, my order was delayed a day..ok, I can live with that. Then, it was not delivered until 4 hours after the promised window (bad weather..ok, I can live with that also). BUT, the pieces were the wrong colors and the two guys who did the set up could not be bothered with my complaints. They were more concerned about high-tailing it out of there. I left a vm for the owner to call me back. We will see what happens! See if the $2,000 I spent there is worth anything. Plus, I need to furnish two more rooms and need help! Will let you guys know how it turns out....

Ask for Albert. A great store to work with. Many catalogs to order from, if you can't find what you are looking for in the store. Can get the same brands as other stores, but a much cheaper price.

This store is located in downtown Rockwall. Parking is a little tight but fighting the parking is worth it.

We were shopping for a new bed for our teenage son and went to several places only to find the beds ridiculously priced. The Furniture Deal had the same bed as the major retailers but at half the cost.

Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

They are criminals! I ordered a table 5 months ago and still don't have it. My story is too long to type here so lets just say it was 2 pages of garbage that I was fed from them a month ago when I filed a complaint with the Bet. Bus. Bur. and still nothing was done. Since then, Clint was fired which actually only complicated things because I still don't have my table and the other sales person is giving me the same load of lies and bad business treatment that Clint did. The owner is impossible to reach and no help anyway so now I have to waste even more time on them because they won't give me my money back even though they waited so long to order my table that it has now been discontinued and they know they can't get it in. I am not one to take people to court, but that is exactly what I am being forced to do now.

Pros: You think you're getting a good deal, but DON"T BE FOOLED!
