Okay, so it's nestled in one of those gas station / convenience store fronts. Sometimes it's hard to find parking. But once you've found it, you'll understand why.

The owners do their own baking. They use fresh, real ingredients. They seem to have harnessed the magic power of New York water, I don't know. But whatever their secret, it's true New York pizza, at last! So their ordinary pizza is outstanding. But that still doesn't tell it all.

They have gourmet pizzas. Not just your typical white pizza, or fancy veggie pizza. You can have a chicken or meatball parmigiana pizza. They have several others, but I haven't tried those yet. The chicken parm is my absolute favorite. Amazing NY crust, sauce and cheese with the most tender real chunks of chicken enveloped in mozzarella and ricotta cheese. It is truly to die for. I'm an Italian food freak and I just can't say enough about this place.

They also have some other stuff that looks good, but I'm totally hooked on that pizza.

As I said, parking can be tough depending what time you're there, but they do have some parking behind the building as well. It's extremely informal (you're in a small, set apart area of the convenience store) but there are a handful of small tables for "dining", if you're so inclined. The prices are a wee bit high, but I'm willing to pay. The difference between Papa Johns and this Pizza Time are well worth the difference.

And besides, if you buy a chicken parmigiana pizza, each slice is a meal; it's doubtful you can handle two in one sitting. Sounds like a bargain to me!

Pros: The food and the bakers

Cons: Parking, price a little higher than the chains
