We ate here with co-workers last week, and I must say, they have some pretty darn tasty pizza. I love all the natural ingredients and the pizza was so large that we had some to take back to work and eat later in the day, loved this place great atmosphere.

My 74 year old mother loves this restaurant. So much in fact that when it first opened and there was nobody eating there, she recommended it to quite a lot of people and also took people there to introduce them to Hearth. She is the ""Norm"" of Hearth, whereas she knows all the wait staff by first names and most of them know her as well.\n\nHer 75th birthday is on 2-24-11 and she wanted to celebrate it at Hearth with 10 of her family members. She contact the manager about a reservation and he was more than happy to oblige. Today she called to confirm the reservation for next Saturday and she spoke with Dave, the owner. Dave promptly told her that they do not accept reservations on Saturday. She explained to him about her history at his restaurant and that she was bringing 10 people that night and that the manager had given her the reservation.\n\nHe would not budge. He didn't care it was her 75th birthday and she chose to celebrate it at his restaurant. He didn't care that she was a regular there. He didn't care how many people she had brought to his restaurant. He didn't care how many people she had referred either and he didn't care that she was bringing 10 of her closest family members to celebrate this milestone birthday. He only cared that if he gave her a reservation, then he would have to give others one as well. He promptly canceled her reservation that the manager had given her.\n\nFunny how a place or a owner will bend over backwards for you when they are struggling or just starting out, but Dave proved that he couldn't care a less about customers like my mom that helped put his restaurant on the map. Now that he's busy, he doesn't have to care. What a pity that he won't honor one measly reservation that his manager was more than happy to give my mom. Needless to say, she will never step foot in the place again but he probably doesn't care about that either.\n

Really nice place. Right next door to my fav Chinese place. They have an awesome menu. Kind of like a California Pizza Kitchen with better pizza. Service is always to notch too. My only 2 gripes and they are major ones. #1 The regular plain jane pepperoni pie is underwhelming. #2 The price high for what you get. If you want a fun unique pizza and don't mind paying a little extra, The Hearth is Girls night approved.

We were surprised by the quality of the food they prepared for us. My husband who is a pizza-lover really loved it! We'll be coming back for more!

Pros: Delectable selection of food

Slightly limited menu but really tasty pizza and a nice feel to the interior. I work relatively close by and go there pretty often. I would recommend it.

I finally made my way to Hearth the other night after hearing great things and was completely impressed. Their pizza was totally unique & fresh. The bar was decently busy for a Wednesday and there was an over all great vibe. I'll definitely be going back.

Pros: Incredible Pizza, Killer Bar

Don't waste your time. Its the same owners as Artuzzis that are just trying to trick us into another failing concept. The service sucks the food is the same as Artuzzis but they are charging more money for the same items. How stupid do they think that we are. They say they make there mozzarella fresh everyday but I watched a cook cut it out of a bag. Nice design BIG waste of time!

My boyfriend and I arrived at 7:30pm on a Thursday and were forced to wait- no biggie- but they had no place for us to stand other than in the doorway and thus had to move back and forth around people trying to exit. A couple came in behind us and had to wait outside, as there was literally no room, even for 2 couples. \n\nOnce we finally were seated, the appetizers were basically unappetizing which is amazing since I was starving, and could have eaten almost anything. They had some eggplant chips and calamari- neither of which looked worth ordering. \n\nWe shared a salad, which was basically lettuce with 1/4"" cubes of veggies sprinkled in so you couldn't ever get them on the fork. The ONLY salad dressings available were vinaigrettes (they didn't even have RANCH!) which I begrudgingly ordered. The red wine balsalmic (house standard) looked like an oil slick, and tasted like one (plus the sensation of being punched in the face with tartness). I choked a few bites down and settled for sitting with a grumbling stomach.\n\nLiterally 30 minutes+ later, our ONE pizza arrived, which was ""The Cure"" (bacon, sausage, pepperoni and cheese) one of their standard pies. It seemed like a single order from the menu should NOT take that long to create. It made me wonder-they claim to make all of their own ingredients, but do they make every one fresh to order? If so, I'd rather eat sooner and eat ingredients cut that morning.\n\nTrying to flag our waitress down for the check was like pulling teeth. My boyfriend works in the service business and is always overwhelmingly polite, but even he was getting irritated at the long wait. We eventually were able to wade through the unruly children running wild and leave the place. Less than 30 minutes later, we were both running to the bathroom.\n\nOverall, not a good idea.

Pros: Fast drink refills

Cons: Slow service, plain food, indigestion!

I stopped by Hearth Pizza to give it a try and was blown away by how incredible and fresh the food was. I got the Ring of Fire Pizza with fresh chorizo, carmalized onions, cliantro, etc. It was one of the best pizzas that I've had in the area. Their patio scene is great and their beer selection rocks too.
