The Nona Pizza is wonderful. Had my first one several weeks ago. I thought it was the freshest and best pizza I had enjoyed in a long time. The nona has tomatoes and cheese on a crispy crust.
Worth driving for.

I Absolutely Love there pizza. It's such a family friendly atmosphere. And there pizza selections are great! Sometimes we like to go here for lunch and we have a pretty big family but they always accommodate us and treat us like family. I would defiantly recommend this place if you want great service and great food!

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and I don't think I have found a better place to have lunch with my 2 year old. Everyone is nice the food is good and we all seem to get along. Keep it up.

Finally some good New York Pizza. A co-worker told me about this place and it was excellent. The pizza is really good and the food is excellent. The subs are huge and the atmosphere was great. They make a great white pizza as well. I would definitely continue to eat here even though it is about 25 minutes from my house. Finally NY has made it to NC!

I love pizza! I'm always looking for the best new pizza place in town and, while Brooklyn Pizza Parlor isn't new, it's definitely one of the best around! The New York style pizza is cooked to perfection and the menu is pretty expansive, including many non-pizza items. The restaurant is always clean and in order and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, too, with a lodge feel that even includes a burning fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Brooklyn's is definitely a family favorite for us!

this is my dad pizza place =] im his daughter and i just wanted to come and support him and his place so EVERYONE PLZ GO TO BROOKLYN PIZZA PARLOR! its very nice and i love all of the employees my dad hired. we have a lot of fun and im sure anyone would like it!! unless u like that pizza thats little sloppy and with no sauce,,,,. u wud hate it... lol =] thx to everyone who rated a good rating!!

I travel 30 minutes to go to this place just so I could get some NY style pizza. It is just like the pizza I used to get back home. The staff is friendly and they know me by name at this point. The owner also makes a point to get to know his customers. I highly recommend this place.

I just moved to Charlotte from NY and a friend of mine recommended this place. I tried it for the first time this past weekend. The pizza is great. The staff was also very friendly and kept checking on us. I will definitely be going back.

Dissapointing at best

I have tried this place several times hoping that somewhere along the line it would get better. The pizza is bland and pretty disappointing. Service has always been marginal at best.

So, I've been here a couple times. We sat on the patio overlooking the Colony Rd / Rea Rd intersection, and the building and surroundings are really nice. The staff was friendly, they serve beer and wine, kept up with our big thirsts, and the menu looked really good. The pizza looked great, huge slices and lots of toppings. But after diggin in, the taste was kinda boring and average. A letdown since I was excited to have some great "real" New York Brooklyn Pizza, but it isn't really. I'm still lookin for that special place in Charlotte. I haven't found one yet to rival a trip to NYC for a slice.
Pros: Great space. Great Location. Lots of room for a group. Beer and Wine.
Cons: Average Pizza. Nothing to write home about.

NY Pizza has finally made it to NC

I heard about this place from other neighbors that were originally from NY. Coming from the NY area it was hard to find a good pizza restaurant in Charlotte. When I first moved here people told me to go to Pizza Hut for good pizza. That's like saying go to Olive Garden for good Italian food. The owner was very friendly and the pizza was excellent.

Great pizza, pasta and wings

We tried Brooklyn pizza after moving here a year or so ago. We now go there a couple of times a month or call ahead and pick up a pizza and wings to take home. The atmosphere is brand new and very clean they have a TV in the corner so you can catch a game and they have a nice fireplace too! Great for families and when you want to grab a quick lunch but want more than a drive thru. Their wings are great and so is their pasta and chicken parm sandwich. Our favorite pizzas are the cheese or buffalo chicken pizza. The cannoli's are good too! The staff has always been helpful and the service is quick. This restaurant is locally owned and has that neighborhood feel. The owner is very friendly and welcomes feedback. We had a problem with an order once and he went above and beyond to make it right. This would be a great place to take a team after a game too!

the real thing...thin and delicious

I tried the place the other night with my family and loved it. If you want real NY style pizza and you're not a fan of Bricks fake pizza, you'll love it.
Pros: Quick service. You order at the desk when you arrive and then it'd delivered to the table in minutes.

I tried this pizza place 3 days ago. They Claim to be NY Style Pizza but the slices I got were overcooked and very chewey. Not what I remember from NY. Waited in line for almost 10 meinute to get my order in and it was not busy. Only one person working the counter and another person (Maybe a manager) just stood and looked at me and never asked to help me. Very close to my house so I hope they get it together soon. Very disapointed. The pastaq dish that my wife tasted good but the pasta was overcooked.
