Scooter Escapes

I've been taking my scooters to these guys for years. If I let my oil changes go too long, and it damaged my engine, they told me. I didn't want to hear it, but I'm man enough to take my lumps. Not like some other whiney people who blame other people for their stupidity.

These guys always keep my scooters running great, and I always go back to them. I'm not knocking other shops, but I know good work when I see it.

Their prices are fair, and they never b.s. me.

My dispute with the owner of Scooter Escapes has been resolved.

I bought my first scooter online. What a mistake that was! Fortunately, the guys at Scooter Escapes were able to get it running good, and I sold it. The next scooter I bought was from Scooter Escapes, and it has given me excellent value because it has a great warranty (haven't really needed to use it) but mainly because it didn't give me any trouble. I put a lot of miles on it and decided to get a bigger one. Scooter Escapes gave me a fair trade-in on my bigger scooter. I'm totally happy and recommend them to all my friends.

Pros: Many models, lots of variety. Also great repairs.

Scooter Escapes is located just behind the St. Petersburg Police Department on first avenue South in St. Petersburg Florida. I bought my first Zongshen motorcycle at this location and almost immediately I started having problems with it. I almost always keep it in the garage but the first and only time it got caught in the rain the readout got water in it and fogged up. Eventually it dried out but then a few weeks later the motor would not start leaving me stranded at the grocery store. I brought it back to Scooter Escapes and the owner convinced me to put it on consignment. They got it sold for me!

Cons: Line of Chinese motorcycles could be improved upon
