This is the place to go for sushi! I especially love the sunny roll! Their sushi is fresh and the service is quick. The place has a nice comfortable atmosphere. The prices are a little high but I think it's worth it for the quality of sushi you get.

Best Sushi in Dallas!
by chemteach84
Little Katana has the best sushi I've tasted by far. They also have lots of awesome rolls and creative food creations that are presented flawlessly. The pricing is highly competitive for the quality. I don't think I'll ever think twice about where to go out for sushi again!
Pros: experienced staff, awesome food, great service

Comfortable and classic!
by StrawberryRiley
Little Katanas serene environment is an escape from the harsh streets of Dallas and a place that will leave you full and fully satisfied!
Pros: the environment is cool, calm, and collected

Awesome food even if you don't like seafood!
by barchick09
This place has great food and awesome service! They have the freshest fish I've ever tasted and a substantial portion of their menu is non-seafood so they had something for even the pickiest eaters in our group. Everything is seasoned perfectly and the service was impeccable. There's also quite a large wine list for such a small restaurant and they have all different kinds of sake & a staff that will happily walk you through anything you're unfamiliar with.
Pros: fantastic food, quaint & cute

Way too hot
by Gaelen
Our daughter picked out this restaurant for her birthday. The food was so spicy hot that 3 of the 4 in our party really couldn't even taste the food for the heat and we really couldn't more than half of our meals. After 2 bites, she didn't even eat her dinner at all and had it boxed up. When I told our waitress, her reply was "sorry" but they didn't do anything about it. We will not return and I do not recommend this place. (After all, how do you know what the food tastes like, if it is so hot you can't eat it?)
Cons: food way too spicy

gREAT SAUSHI & SHASIMI
by gdoramus
DAVE WAS OUR WAITER AND HE WAS THE BEST. VERY HONEST ON FOOD RECCOMENDATIONS AND ADORABLE. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE FOOD AND THE ATMOSHERE. STEVE, THE MANAGER SET THE TONE FOR THE EVENING AND DAVE MADE SURE THAT EVERY ORDER WAS PERFECTLY EXECUTED. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AND ONLY WISH THAT IT WAS OPEN FOR LUNCH.

Ahi Tower was Amazing!
by kellygreen
This was our first time visiting Little Katana, although we are avid sushi consumers. The service was great (ask for Dave if visiting on Friday or Saturday night), and the food was wonderful. The Ahi Tower was absolutely delicious and the presentation was amazing. We were not impressed with the yellowtail roll, and when we casually mentioned this to our server, he promptly took care of it and offered us desert on the house. Everything else was great! We will visit again, but we will ask to sit in Dave's section. He made the experience very enjoyable!
Pros: Small, intimate setting, great food and service
Cons: Yellowtail roll was not great.

Fresh Sushi & Great Ambience
by dlaustin
Little Katana is my new favorite sushi place, and i go at least once a week. The fish is incredibly fresh, the menu is extremely tasty (the Ahi Tower is to die for), and the prices are very reasonable. I love the cozy setting, and even on weekends, I don't mind a 10 a 15 minute wait. I used to be a regular at Tei Tei and Shinsei, but the wait for the table on weekends is unbearable (an hour and half wait?!). If I am in the mood for japanese, I bring all of my friends to Little Katana now since the food and service are wonderful.
Pros: Parking is convenient, great ambience, great customer service
Cons: Some of the waitstaff are still working out the kinks in service but generally are fine

Nice place to enjoy
by jimmieguy
Had dinner here with a friend, before a hockey game. The service was a bit spotty, but the food was outstanding. The sushi chef, even came by and showed me a great way to enjoy my sake. Just add a bit of salt to each sip and it really changes the taste and flavor of each drink. WOW!! The place is small and cozy, but I will be back. They are simple, yet very organized and smart with their work.
Thanks Jimmie
Pros: sushi, sushi bar, small and quiet
Cons: small, spotty service

Great sushi!
by mhd123
Little Katana had some of the best Sushi in Dallas. Their environment was a little laid-back (not a bad thing) so, if you are looking for a Nobu or Steel date experience it is probably not the place for you. The service and environment was nice but the food was amazing.
Pros: Food was GREAT!
Cons: Small

Great new sushi bar as well as a place for people who want a great steak!
by tsmoore
I ate here the other day for the first time before an appt. across the street (which will be in another great review). It was absolutley awesome sushi and I got GREAT service and even a "hello" from the manager ( a pretty woman who was excited about the new digs and the fact that the owner was building another location at 75 and Campbell). The guy next to me (at the Sushi bar) said he had been there many times (in the 3 months they'd been open) and enjoyed it every time. He was having a good time pointing out that he had been asked by 4-5 different waiters if he needed anything. He said, "its funny, today I am in here to just relax, not work and have a glass of wine with my lunch" (it was Friday)... "and I have never had such service! "
He said." it's refreshing, but today I just want to kick back!" I enjoyed a great (2 dishes) of sushi, and was out of there, but not before getting the name of the brilliant man that created the place on Travis, and the new place to come on Campbell. I'll be back often!!
Pros: great food in a great shopping area, as well as a great wine shop across the street
Cons: I found none

Ahi Tower to Die for!!!
by seys
I attended the invitiation only party a few nights ago and cannot stop raving about the sushi!!! It was some of the best sushi I have had in a considerable about of time. The crawfish dynamite was amazing as well. . .They were not the slightest bit skimpy with the crawfish. . .The shortribs had the perfect amount of flavor, though a little overcooked, not too overpowering.
Pros: Different, great new addition to Dallas sushi restaurants
Cons: Small place, not great for big parties
