Blue Moon Cafe

Belt-busting good southern food. This cafeteria style family cafe is a great place to take the whole family, especially the kids. The ambiance is casual, and the staff is friendly. Not only are your pants bursting at the seams, but so is the restaurant itself. We went on a Sunday, with the rest of the post-church going crowd, and found ourselves in a very long line, all the way out the door. That's a good sign b/c you know there's some good food to be had, but that's also the only downside--only one serving station for all those folks. You may want to avoid it during that time, but otherwise, their baked chicken, grean beans and peach cobbler was awesome. I would highly recommend if you're looking for good 'ol southern cooking.

We go there at least once a week. The food is great and you get a good home cooked meal. We work late and it is nice to go through the line and get a meat and vegetables. We get tired of fast food. My daughter loves the poppyseed chicken and rice. Everything I have eaten there is great. The servers are so sweet.

They have great food with large servings (I share my plate with my child and I still leave food). My favorite is the poppyseed chicken and rice, but the roast beef is good too. Their service is good with friendly servers. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Try it you will like it.

Great food. You go through the line cafeteria style and pick a meat and two vegetables. The meat loaf is a favorite in our house. You can get your food to go. Very friendly and clean.

The title says it all. Great home cooked food with real southern flavor and hospitality to go along with it. The menu selection changes daily with usually only 2-3 meats to choose from. The best items offered is the fried chicken and poppyseed chicken.
