Be careful, it's addicting!!!!
by kris917
My boyfriend introduced me to this place six months ago with much skepticism on my part. Now, I must eat here at least once if not more every week. It's amazing food and such a good deal for lunch during the week. In the business lunch special, you get a salad, rice, three delicious meats (lamb sausage, shish kabob and steak), a bunch of pitas and a drink all for under $7. I highly recommend this place to everyone, just make sure to take your appetite. I normally have to take half home.
Pros: Excellent food, great value
Cons: Casual atmosphere

Great and affordable mediterannean food!
by foodcritic234
The food is too good to be at such a low price, you could eat here everyday and never get bored... the menu is great, with tons of selections and options when you want to mix it up. The service is quick, and the workers are very friendly. Definitely recommend!!!

Not very fresh, too greasy
by pizgal2
I have read the reviews and decided to try the place out. Sorry, but I have lived in the middle east and Washington Dc and this stuff is not the real thing.
The falafel is way too bland, to the reader that raves about it, well read falafel recipes online and you need garlic. This must be the watered down American version, but not for my world wise palate.
Gyros are same as Great wraps, food court stuff. this place is like a food court place, ok, for that, but I expected a true neighborhood gem, and this is not it. I have heard of others and will march onward thru Midtown to find the best. I am new to area, so it is all about trying new places. Baklava is dry and hommos is not creamy and thick like I love. Way, too bland again. And, you get what you pay for, so this place should be in the mall, not in an upscale, food savy place like Midtown..

Beautiful setting, great Mediterannean taste
by wbimport
Honestly, it doesn't get any better than this. The meats are cooked just right, and the salads are amazing. You don't sit there waiting for hours and hours, and the place is lively. I go there for lunch just about everyday, and honestly, I can't recommend a better place. This is the best Med food you are going to find in town, and it is AFFORDABLE. Well done!

This is one of the BEST middle eastern restaurants in Atlanta. Their service and food is awesome. I would highly recommend people to visit any time and expect the same experience each time.

My personal experience
by nick0104
Real good place if you want mediteranean food. Very authentic, good portions, and reasonable priced. I live far away from the place, however, my wife and I go there at least every two weeks and sometimes weekly.

Killer Lamb Shank
by Mark7968111
Hey Guys,
My name is mark. I just recently visited the Midtown grill. I got the chance to meet the manager Emead Deeb. He was very helpful with making my choice of food. I told him I loved lamb. So he recommended the lamb shank. This Dish was one of the best tasting lamb I ever had. It was Incredible. Compliments to the chef. I encourage all of you to try it. I promise you wont regret it. Thank you so much Emead. Hope to see you soon.

Best F

This is by far my favourite place to eat in all of Atlanta! I have lived in the city here for about 12 years and stand by that statement! The food is always fresh and of the highest quality. The price is also as good as the food(mon - fri business lunch is under 7 bucks)and the customer service is outstanding!I eat here at bare minimum 3 times a week and highly recommend it to anyone!Even people who arent into Greek/Middle Eastern food will love it! My only complaint is that there arent more places like Med Grill!

Awesome value and quality
by Isochronous
My girlfriend and I went in search of a good gyro, and boy did we find it. I've tried every promising looking or sounding mediterranean place I've come across (excluding places like "gyros and eggrolls" - wtf?) in a search for a great gyro, and this was by far the best. Fresh, bright, flavorful lettuce and tomatoes, a great tzatziki sauce, flavorful moist meat, all wrapped up in a thin, light, 9" pita round that the owner says he gets custom baked for him at a nearby Lebanese bakery. The baklava portions were large without the quality suffering - crispy, flaky, drenched with butter and honey and just falling apart in your mouth. The tabouleh salad was excellent as well - obviously made fresh that day, and even the small portion was more than enough for 2 to split as a side.
It's obvious there's a lot of local support for the place, there was a great painting of the restaurant and staff hanging on the wall that was apparently done by one of their regular customers. The owner was really friendly, giving us coupons and asking us to let him know if we found a good spot for him to open another location in Dunwoody. I fully plan on doing it too, I want this place to be closer!
They offer way more things than just gyros, too, but that was what led me there today. Next time I plan on trying their falafel, as it looked and smelled mouth-watering.
Pros: Value, Quality, Freshness
Cons: Not closer to my apartment

Great Mediterranean Food
by davidb82
The Mediterranean Grill serves up authentic Middle Eastern Food. There are alot of great dishes there, but for first timers I would recommend the combination feast. The combination feast let's people try three different types of meat - shish kabob, kufta kabob, and gyros slices. All three types of meat are well prepared and have great flavor. Another thing I would recommend is the hummus, which is made on site and very delicious. Definitely a place worth going to if you like Middle Eastern food.

Best Basboosa Ever!
by Kimya
I've tried the Rice Pudding and the Baklava both and have been quite impressed with the quality and tastiness of both desserts. Now they have Basboosa and I am in trouble (trying to watch my weight) as it is better than the many homemade Baboosas that I've tasted. Thank you Med Grill for bringing this uniquely delicious dessert to the menu. Now, how about Kunafa?! Can we get that next?
Best Regards,
Kimya

Best Pita in Town
by bwlove
The best gyro shop in Atlanta. Excellent hummus (try it as Saied recommends - with some hot sauce drizzled over the top), sandwiches that are mouthwatering (have had the gyro, falafel and kufta - the kufta has this cardamom/cinnamon flavor that adds a nice twist), and the flakiest most addcitive baklava in the city.
Although I love meat, I always try to get my wife to go with me as she gets the falafel. Of course then I have to sample it myself- it's something to try. And unlike a few places in town, Med Grill's falafel doesn't leave you breathing garlic breath for days on end...
The part I like best, since I'm cheap, is that everything is very affordable compared to most of the shops in town. When I need my hummus and gyro fix, the Grill is where I will be....

Best Medierranean food in Atlanta
by dorfa
I'm from the middle-east. I know my humus. I know my babaganush. I know my tehini. I know my falafel. This place is THE BEST!!! The salds are fresh, the falafel in=s crunchy on the outside nd fresh on the inside - just like it should be. The service is always very friendly. I tried many places in Israel, Palestine, and Egypt. I tried several places in Atlanta. Mediterranean Grill is the best in Atlanta and lines up with the best in the Middle-East.
Pros: Thumbs up

Fast, fresh middle eastern cuisine
by mlj528
I've been to the Mediterranean Grill in Decatur many times and love the food- I just discovered the Midtown location which is much more convenient to me, but has the same fast service and really yummy middle eastern food. Their gyro is the best in the city! I like to go during lunch too for their affordable lunch combos.
Pros: Convenient, Fast, Fresh, good price
Cons: Limited parking
