Great gumbo, great fried seafood, great pastas, and perfect crawfish. Sakari has the best crawfish THAT I have yet tasted.

Whoever is writing the rave reviews for this place must work for this place or own it.

It's not that bad, but it's not that good. The sushi was somewhat passable and contains much more rice than other, better sushi places put on their pieces. There was hardly any fish in the rolls I got. The eel roll didn't even taste like eel should taste and it had cucumber to fill up a lot of space. The spicy salmon roll tasted like rice and spicy creole seasoning. I've had much better sushi from grocery stores. However, it is quite cheap.

Aside from the sushi I had the calamari appetizer, which was decent enough. The dipping sauce wasn't very good, though.

This place seems to always be dead. I hardly ever see any people here at all...and maybe that is because everyone is going to better places.

I wouldn't recommend this place and whoever says that this place is one of the best sushi joints in town is flat-out lying.

They should drastically change things if they want to survive. If they don't, I can see them going under very soon.

I have been to most sushi places in houston and this is definitely one of the best. I have been going there now for a few months and the service is always great , and consistant, the food is always top notch.
Also the the waitresses and bartenders are atractive and the night venue is better than you would think.
They have a DJ from the radio station play there on wednsday (104krbe) and there is usually some type of party on the weekends. Anyway, great food, great service, great happy hour prices, great night atmosphere. All around great place for lunch, or drinks. Oh, and try the Shaggy dog cut roll.

I went to this to watch the rockets playoff the bar was full but the restaurant was empty.
The food was great the Crawfish was amazing and the waitress & bartender was very attractive.
It would be a great place to hangout and eat but don't know why it isn't busy. this will be my New Friday Hangout. Only bad thing about Sakari is I can't say the name.... Sorry will try to learn

What an ugly disappointment!
Saw this place taking a short-cut one day and decided to try it for lunch. There was a light, but foul odor walking in, like fish that had 'turned', and against my better judgement I decided to eat anyway.

Big mistake. Naturally, I shyed away from the sushi, and thought I'd be safe with the Udon, a thoroughly cooked soup. Oh no! This was the sickliest bowl of udon ever.....hunks of bloody beef, cut slab-like, covered pieces of hard broccoli, and one browning, slimy snow pea that had fallen in by mistake. After a few bites, I told the waiter, I just couldn't stomach it; so she referred me to the manager, who told me 'too bad' basically, since I had eaten some of it. Lesson learned: follow your instincts; if the place is slightly stinky and serves fish, listen to your nose....and run!
