Spotless dining room, excellent food, efficient and friendly staff!
I've been there countless times and have never been disappointed! The pottery shop is charming and always has unique items in addition to the beautiful pottery. A peaceful afternoon getaway far removed from the hectic fast food lanes and chain restaurants yet convieniently located. Must go to appreciate!

Wow! I was blown away by the Emerson Creek Tearoom when I first visited this year. When you go down the road you feel like you have been transported to the country. I was told to make reservations because they are always full and I was glad I did. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and told me about the history of the property which I found very personable and interesting. My server was very friendly and told me about the seasonal and new items on the menu. Appearantly they change the menu each week which was a refreshing change from the chain restaurants that make up Oswego dining. Everything was homemade and delicious. I had their soup and flower pot salad and was quite surprised at how large the portions were. The peach blackberry cobbler for desert was to die for. I am already planning my next visit to bring friends! The views from the restaurant, the tearoom atmosphere, and the friendly staff all made this a great dining experience!

Out in the country, down a long, long lane is one of the most fabulous tea rooms I have ever been too. You can have lunch in what once was a horse stall - you won't believe it until you look closely and realize, yes, it was a stall!! Imagine eating lunch in a stall with a touch of elegance. Words just cannot explain how delightful the feeling is. The menu is fabulous and the desserts are mouth-watering! On top of that, there is a beautiful gift shop with amazing and well-known pottery. There is plenty of land so you can believe you are truly out in the country even though suburban living is closing in on Oswego. Please visit but call first or check out their website for hours as they do close for the winter. You will LOVE it.
