The Loon River Cafe is a cute little cafe to come for lunch or dinner. They offer a great selection of sandwiches and home made soups. It's a good place to go with your girlfriends for an inexpensive lunch out.

I like this place. It is cozy and the food is great. You get quality food for your money. It is not smokey either. It is great for group gathering too.

Loon River excels at offering consistency; great food, affordable prices, good atmosphere, and friendly, competent staff. Great place if you are staying at the Best Western Hotel it is attached to. Great as a neighborhood restaurant/bar. Glad I live close!!

A wonderful, semi-casual restaurant with an eclectic menu. Choose Michigan game or fish; or traditionals like thick-cut pork chops or steak or chicken. This is a bustling room that is very busy Friday, and Saturday nights, so sit at the bar and do some people watching while you wait for a table. Fun place.

Pros: Great bar, Menu surprizes

Despite its location in a glossy conference and banquet center, this affordable, Michigan-themed restaurant has a pretty convincing northern lodge vibe with a big faux-stone fireplace, field-and-stream trappings, wooden floors and country…
