Excellent job. Pete Theofanopoulos took care of every detail from start to finish making sure job was done correctly and as promised. He kept me informed during each step of the process. Work crew was professional in their work ethic with superior craftsmanship. My wife and I are very happy with new roof, aluminum trim and gutters. Would recommend Tittle Brothers to anyone looking for home quality improvement work.

Most reviews are negative, but this one is not. The crew came out when they said they said they would, did what they said they would and it turned out beautifully.

Hello! I would like to send a big thank you to Tom K. and Jennifer P. for taking care of us! We LOVE our garage door and my mother-in-law's roof still looks fantastic! And...we sent you to our neighbor and they are also very happy with Tittle. You are the only construction company we will hire. Thanks for taking care of us!

had a 4 ft x 29 ft porch replaced with a 6 ft porch and had the aluminum awning taken off, and a full porch bump out framed overhang added on. Everyone who worked on the job was pleasant and worked diligently to accomplish this task. We had recessed lighting added which made such a difference. I would recommend Tittle brothers and I plan on doing more work with them this year.

I had a new roof installed yesterday, it looks remarkable. Not only was Scott Tittle professional, he took his time with me when trying to decide what color, he showed up with a crew of over 25 employees, the roof was done in 4 hours and I have a big house. I was very impressed with the overall appearance of the company, nice black trucks and trailers. Don't waste your time with other companies, Tittle Brothers Construction is the best. Thank you

I never usually write reviews but had such a terrible experience with Tittle Brothers that I felt I had to do it. Everything is an issue with this company. Although they presented themselves professional at first, this wasn't the case once they started the work. Excuse after excuse for every problem that had came about. The workers are rude and very shaddy. My nieghbors complained to me numerous times about the language and urinatimg in public. I told them numerous times about my concern and it never got better. The work was poorly done and took way longer than expected. They left a big mess every day but did come lean up when the job was completed but threw it in a pile on my driveway! Good luck but Tittle Brothers will not get any more of my business.

Unfortunately, we used this company for roofing, masonry, and gutter replacement.

They were scheduled to show up on three separate occasions. The first, they called and stated they were running behind and didn't get to finish a job they needed to finish. The next day they were supposed to arrive, we arranged our schedule to accommodate them. They no call no showed and when they were called to find out why, they didn't even apologize or give any reason for the inconvenience. They finally arrived on a monday when we, once again arranged our schedules to accommodate them.

The workers were extremely unprofessional, using an excessive amount of profanities. They left the house a mess and killed my lawn and landscaping with their carelessness. When I left them at my home to go to work, they had the audacity to ask me what I do, how much I make, and how much I paid for my house.

The next job was the gutters. They came when we were unable to be home to fix these and couldn't give us a date and time that they would be there. Upon arriving home I found that they had not fixed the gutters as per the discussion with ""Tom"" that gave us the estimate. I called to ask if they could, from now on, give us a time and date as to when the work will be done so that we could make sure it is done correctly. They agreed and returned to complete the job properly. However, when they returned to complete the job, they were asked to check with me prior to leaving to make sure that all looked good and they left without honoring my request.

At this point, I was ready to be done with this company and go with someone else for the masonry work that needed to be completed. My husband assured me that he had taken care of all the problems and that the masonry work would be done to my satisfaction.

Not only did they , again, come on a day that we were unable to be there for the masonry work, but it was a surprise visit and it was far from being satisfactory! When the estimate was given by the company, it was discussed that the masonry work would be done in a completely different way as to prolong the life of the brick steps. What was discussed was not done and we were never contacted to make sure that what they decided to do instead was ok. So, the estimate was for one thing, and they did another. Again, I arrived from work to find the unprofessional bunch smoking cigarettes on my front lawn. When asking them why the work didn't look as it should, they stated that it wasn't even possible to do the work that they initially had quoted in the estimate. They were extremely rude stating that this is what ""Tom"" (the person who did the estimate) said to do. After that conversation, they left. When contacting ""Tom"", again, he stated that he tried to get a hold of us all day, but really he never tried once. Both my husband and I have cell phones and are able to track our calls. He never called nor left a message regarding the work they were about to mess up.

After multiple discussions with ""Tom Tittle"" my husband made the executive decision to pay them for the masonry work although it wasn't done how we wanted at all and we were never consulted on how it was done. They gave us $125 off because they knew it wasn't right... big deal! We felt that we were stuck and, although we know that what they did isn't legal, it isn't work the fight for $900.

My husband and I are first time home owners and we spent a lot of money with this company. I regret every penny and wish we could go back. Since we can't go back, I urge you to take this into consideration and not go with this company for any of your work.

We had this company pour concrete at our house.

1) They failed to show up when promised on three occasions and it wasn't weather related. Their excuse was that something came up at another job site.

2) When we would ask a question about the job it wasn't uncommon to hear, ""I just lay the concrete so I don't know.""

3) Workers used profanitites and vulgarities in front of my children. My neighbors even complained to me about the workers behavior.

4) Failed to finish the job according to the contract. Had to call them nearly 4-5 times and finally appx. two weeks later they came out to finish the job.

5) Killed grass in many spots on my front lawn by recklessly throwing debris onto it and leaving same.

6) Left a pop bottle of urine in my backyard! I picked it up not realzing! GROSS!

Anyways I could go on and on but I just want to get this experience behind me......I do not recommend this company.

Hired Tittle Brothers to do the roof on my house and was very impressed with the work done. The office staff was professional. Kevin Tittle came out to give my estimate and was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. Made a very nervous homeowner comfortable. Heard alot of bad stuff about contractors scamming people but they did the job the way they said they would and Kevin was there when the job was done to walk around to make sure we were happy with everything. Thanks so much for making a major decision easy!!

This fall, Tittle Brothers completed 3 separate jobs for me: (1) detailed tuck pointing around home and chimney, (2) new roof on home and garage, and (3) siding/soffit/flashing work on my garage. My field agent, Pete Theofanopoulous, and the crews on each job were professional and stood behind their work every step of the way. When you call to arrange an estimate, be sure to ask to see Pete Theofanopoulos. He is professional, courteous, responsive and detail oriented. He gets things done. I originally met with one other agent at Tittle Brothers, and he would have lost my business if I had to stick with working with him... Pete's the guy to work with. I got estimates from a number of companies for each project, and I chose Tittle Brothers for each. Pete gave me the confidence that Tittle Brothers could properly handle what I needed done and the estimates were competitively priced. A few small issues did occur along the way with each of the 3 jobs. These issues were taken care of swiftly. No big project goes perfectly, and the true test of a company's quality and service is when you see how responsive they are. I trust that Pete and Tittle Brothers will continue to stand behind the work should I run into any problems down the road. One added FYI: At my request when I first met with Tittle Brothers, they respectfully showed me documentation that they are licensed and have both general liability and workman's compensation insurance. Several of the other companies that I met with about these projects tried to argue with me when I requested to see documentation that they're fully insured - a clear indication that they have something to hide. I got so tired of the deception from some of the companies that I finally insisted on companies faxing me copies of their license and certificates of insurance before I'd even spend time arranging to meet with them for an estimate. So be sure that you are comparing apples with apples amongst companies that you are considering. If a company doesn't have workman's compensation insurance, you can get sued if someone gets injured on the job. You can verify that by calling your insurance agent.

I would recommend this company to my family, friends, and any person that needs to get a home improvement job done big or small. Thank you again Tittle Brothers for my brand new beautiful addition.

Pros: family owned small business

My husband and I have been looking to get our roof done for quite sometime now and even though we were actively seeking estimates no company seemed like the right fit for us. We finally in an act of desperation put an ad on Hire It Done and that is when we first came in contact with Tittle Brothers Construction. They called us the day we placed the ad, had Mr. Tittle at our house the following day, and had our roof not only started but completed by the end of the week. I feel absolutely confident that I went with the best company out there and that in the future if I have any problems, questions, or concerns they are always just a phone call away.

After many estimates it was obvious that Tittle Brothers was the best value for the dollar. They were not the cheapest but they were the safest choice with all their manufacture certifications and high recommendations from the neighbors. This was our first time having a roof installed and with hearing all the horror stories about contractors taking people's money and never doing the work. Tittle Brothers offered no money down and we didn't have to pay until the job was complete and to our satisfaction and that put our mind at ease. If you know of anyone that needs a roof I would highly recommend and finally a company that actually cares about their customers.

In December of 2007, Tittle Brothers Construction (TBC) of southeast Michigan contracted to replace our roof. We have had varying degrees of leaks from the very first snow fall. Although in most cases the contractor has sent someone out to ""fix"" the problem when we requested help, they have simply patched the symptoms rather than fix the problems left by a unconcerned, poorly supervised installation crew. \r
\r
I am realistic. Not every roof, remodel, construction project will go exactly how the homeowner views it should. But if a brand new roof leaks, and continues to seap water for two years at every snow and every rain, I think it is a contractor failure, not a homeowner expectation problem. \r
\r
What I really need is for Tittle Brothers Construction to send out one experienced, ethical contractor to find and repair the errors left behind from a crew who cared little about the quality of their work. Although everyone on the phone was positive, motivated and excited about the job, no one stayed on the job site long enough to ensure anyone was doing the work correctly - or at all in some cases. Ultimately, it is not the office staff or the company president swinging a hammer. It is the crew that shows up in your driveway. \r
\r
The company never sent someone out to help me pick up the hundreds of rusty nails from the lawn, garden and flower beds after the old roof was removed, despite repeated assurances.\r
\r
The crew removed the old ""can"" style vents from my roof and installed a newer style ""ridge"" vent. They made no effort to cover or patch the 6"" holes in the roof where they removed the old can vents. I stood in my attic and looked up at 6"" holes, covered over by roofing felt, then pierced by roofing nails when the shingles were laid down. I am no roofing expert, but that hardly seemed like a water tight or proper way to do things.\r
\r
They crew never bothered to seal the gable vents, which were no longer needed due to the new ridge vent system. Consequently snow and rain blew right through them as the wind was channeled in one side and out the other. Tittle Brothers' answer to this problem was to screw in 1/2"" plywood behind the vent, and on the inside of the house. This caused rain and accumulated snows to drip right into the attic and flow down the 2x4's. When Tittle Brothers stopped sending out a contractor to patch leaks in the rain, I paid another general contractor out-of-pocket to seal the gable vents. He used a sticky-backed weather seal on the vents and it has not leaked a drop since. Seems like a skilled, ethical, or concerned general contractor on the job site could have made that happen a year earlier when the original crew was onsite.\r
\r
On Christmas day 2009, my garage roof was streaming water into the garage, causing damage to gear stored there. The original crew caulked some good looking flashing onto the side of the cupola, but made no effort to seal underneath it, to channel water down the shingles.\r
\r
Two years later, and we still leak and seap water at every rainfall. We can't go on family trip during rainy weather as we never if the wind direction and rainfall will just cause rain to seap in around the chimney or if, like on Christmas day, gallons of water will stream in unchecked. Over $8000 to completely replace the old roof so we would not have to worry about things like water damage in the rain.\r
\r
Tittle Brothers Construction sent a poorly trained, unethical, poorly supervised crew to our home. Our price - in addition to writing a check, is constant vigilance on our part. I get up at 2:00AM on rainy nights and make sure I can move a bucket or dry up with a towel to avoid potential repair costs.\r
\r
I do not recommend this company to family or friends. And I do not recommend this company to any family, like ours, who can't afford to pay to have the job done twice. If you need it done right the first, second, fifth, or sixth time, you may want to consider another contractor.\r

On Christmas day 2009, my garage roof was streaming water into the garage, causing damage to gear stored there. The original crew caulked some good looking flashing onto the side of the cupola, but made no effort to seal underneath it, to channel water down the shingles.\r

Pros: Great on the phone.

Cons: Zero follow through or work ethic by the crew they sent out.
