The food here is authentic and delicious. My only complaint with the food is that there can be quite a bit of grease.

One of our waitresses complained once that she couldn't understand the chefs -- they only spoke Spanish. Which, to me, means truly genuine food.

The atmosphere is nice. Relaxed but with a touch of pep. It's very . . . social. I can't help thinking when I go there that it's just a good place for people to get together and eat.

I really like the decor, too. Some Mexican restaurants (usually the ones run by English-speakers) are too bright and plastic. Mexico Lindo has a beautiful combination of bright and dark colors to make you feel both cheered up and cozied down.

The only problem with the restaurant's layout is that they don't have a bathroom. You have to leave the restaurant (it's in a shopping complex, so you don't actually go outside) and walk a little ways to reach the secluded bathrooms. If you're positioned in the very back of the restaurant, it can take a while to go and get back.

The food and environment is great. I haven't had a meal there that i wasn't satisfied with. I have, however, found myself waiting a little too long for my food. But then again it was quite busy so it's understandable. This place is a must try!

I love good Mexican food, and since I can't get Chimichangas at the Zona Rosa anymore, I was bummed. NOT ANYMORE. Mexico Lindo is awesome. The chips are fresh and home-made. The salsa I would eat with a spoon(lovin' the cilantro). I have tried almost every thing they offer, from tacos to chimis, pollo a chipotle, chiliqueres?, quesadillas, enchilladas. YUM. I litterally get crabby when I go too long with out eating there. I think I might be addicted!! The staff is effecient, most speak Spanish, and don't mind at all when you try to practice yours. The only down side is that it is not always consistant--sometimes it is better than others--but even when its not as good--its still better than anywhere else!!
