I had read all the comments about this place and I decided to go to this hair salon. Unfortunately I'm not happy with my hair cut. Paul cut the top of my hair too short even-though I had told him that I wanted to keep the same length. I don't really like how he cut the end of my hair, it looks too flat. Also I didn't like at all how one of his employees dried my hair, it looks too puffy!

Paul is excellent. His staff, is completely the opposite. His assistant almost burned my head with hot water, another one sprayed water on my child standing by and did not even offer a towel to dry. She literally tore my scalp to get the color off my skin. My skin still retained a lot of the color several days later. The color was nice but in 2 weeks, I noticed it was way way over-processed and brassy. Not sure about his coloring products because other salons where I have had it colored have come off my skin right away but stayed on my head. Salon is not very clean either.

Paul is really great, he gave me the best hair cut I have ever had! He really has a good eye for knowing what works best for ones hair, everyone who left looked great!!

Paul does a wonderful job on my highlights and cut everytime.All my friends go to him , he is quite busy but definelty worth the wait. Paul is the man!!!

I had never been here before but saw all the great reviews on insider page and decided to give it a try. This salon has such a great, laid-back atmosphere. Everyone is really nice and professional. I had blonde highlights and a haircut with Paul, who did an awesome job. My color looked amazing, natural and really healthy afterwords. Paul also took the time to discuss other options with me to make sure I got what I wanted. I would highly recommed this salon to anyone who is tired of huge noisy factory type salons where you just feel cattle prodded and end up paying a fortune for something you don't like. Money spent at Paul Michaels is worth it.Paul is wonderful!

Paul takes the time to get to know his clients so that he can make your hairstyle suitable for both your look and lifestyle. His professionalism and sense of humor make you feel at ease while enjoying your salon experience. His talent and experience lead him to be the best colorist and stylist Ive ever had. I've been going to Paul for 4 years. He is fantastic. I get stopped all the time for my color,highlights and cut. I love the salon too. My husband also goes to Paul, and has never looked better.Heather and Joe

Wow, I went to Paul Michael Salon for the first time yesterday, and I am hooked! Paul is very warm and friendly; he discussed my cut and color needs with me and made some suggestions that catered to my hair type. I walked out with the best haircut and color I've ever had and a smile on my face. Thanks, Paul!

Forget all the hype salons with all the ambiance and fancy shmanci, those salons had everything , but professional stylists. I finally found someone who can Highlight hair like it should be done, Paul Michael was very professional and is very talented, without the arrogance. Paul Michael is great for highlights and his cuts are just as wonderful..

I will tell everyone I have been to many salons and Paul Michael is the only stylist who ever really did exactly what I wanted, the color, highlights,and cut are perfect. I am very pleased and defintley will be back. I feel like a million bucks.

Paul Michaels Salon is a great spot to get a wonderful cut, hot color, and top service. I love this salon. Paul is so cool, he listens, and he makes you feel so "at home" about the whole thing. There is not much more to say. Just go see for yourself.

I've been going to Paul for years. He has always done beautiful work. Amazing color and highlights. Very professional, attentive, he definetly has my vote!!

I got there in a total hair crisis. Paul took all the time to go over color recommendations to fix my hair disaster. I was there for about 4 hours and It went super fast. They make you feel like family. I have to say that I really love my hair now, it came up exactly as Paul described it would, so no surprises! Prices are good considering all the time . My search for a great salon in Virginia is FINALLY over

Paul does excellent color and highlights. He clearly explains the coloring process and the required maintenance that will keep it looking new. When he colored my hair, he selected a shade that complimented my skin tone and appearance. Over the years I have seen many color artists and he is clearly the best that I have ever used
