Urban Out Sitters

I've been bringing my dogs and cat to urban for years. They've always been very well cared for. We always get extra playtimes and sometimes go into the kennel area to say goodbye. It is clean and bright, an overall good place to leave your pet with no worries. When I bring my black lab to the vet, which is across from his daycare, he cries heads toward his daycare and actually gets excited and drags me to the door. It's sort of like camp for him.

Everyone at urban out Sitters is friendly and they always greet you with a warm smile! Additionally, the dog is always greeted with a back scratch. I am always impressed that they remember both the dog owners name and the dogs name. They pay careful consideration to the details. The best part of the service is that my puppy can barely keep her eyes open on the way back home. It is such a piece of mind knowing that I can drop my puppy off and she gets plenty of attention and exercise!

I couldn't ask for a better spot-for Spot! He knows and loves the staff--not an easy trick for him--he's not a people person. The staff is full of dog people who can answer any question and solve any issue. It's obvious they love what they do--and the dogs love them for it!

My bichon, does blitzes every time he sees the driver pick-up! I feel lucky to have found a place (who is almost like family at this point) to take care of my little guy. the staff at Urban are professional, reliable, and flexible. But most importantly, they are true animal-lovers through and through. I've never worried when I've gone out of town, and this is a big deal given that he takes a daily medication for a chronic health condition. I've tried to think of something constructive to say so that this review is helpful to people considering this service, but honestly it's hard to be constructive when I'm 100% satisfied!

Urban Out Sitters is a dream come true! I was so confident leaving my dog with them over the holidays and I am very picky! They are so professional and compassionate. Jackie asked all the right questions about how to make my pup comfortable and happy during her stay before I had to mention anything! I knew that my dog was going to love it there and sure enough she did! I would and will highly recommend Urban Out Sitters and Jackie for everything from boarding, dog walking to daycare. She is such a treasure!

Urban outsitters has been taking care of my family's dogs for as long as I can remember. We have always trusted them with our dogs & they always do a good job for us. It's one thing I don't have to worry about. All the assistants are all nice & my dogs seem to like them. They even board them when I have to travel out of town. If you knew us , you'd know how picky we are. We all are comfortable here & all our dogs.

We have used their boarding and grooming services on several occasions and have been very pleased. Our dogs are always very excited to go to 'camp' and come home looking terrific. It's been our experience that the staff is very caring and professional. They have also been very accommodating to our reservation needs.

We have been using the dayton facility since our guy was a puppy and he gets all excited when I ask him if he wants to go to the "school"!!! They treat him well and I never have to worry that he might not get fed or watered or let out on his walks. Peace of mind is priceless and my daycare provides peace of mind for me and my dog. I would and have highly recommended this place.

We had our dog Maya boarded for 6 days. The staff was wonderful to her & us. They called us a day after she was picked up to see if we had any questions or concerns regarding Maya's stay there. We thought this was such a caring thought. After talking to them, they did know Maya from the comments made and we appreciated it. We will not hesitate to use these wonderful people again...and would recommend them to everyone!!!!

My Leo has been going there for Daycare, Grooming, and the occasional Boarding. He walks in the front door thinking that he owns the place, but all he wants to do is give all of her friends lots of kisses. Now L. can be grumpy with a lot of dogs, and very picky, but when he sees his girlfriends, he is as happy as can be. The staff at Urban Out SItters cares more about the animals there than anything else in the world, the TLC time is wonderful, but most of all the care of the pets is above and beyond! Thank you Urban Out Sitters for the last two years of making our lives so pleasent and remarkable, the memories will never be forgotten, and neither will you! You guys really know what your doing and I am proud to say I would take my prince there anytime!

I highly recommend Urban for Day Care and Boarding. My vet said they are the Cadillac of Kennels and was she right. Harley loves going and I have peace of mind that my baby is well taken care of. He has been going since he was 12 weeks old and has helped him be better socialized with people and his four legged friends. As soon as he started I noticed a difference in his behavior. I tell everyone I meet to take their dogs to Urban. You will not be disappointed.

I bring my two nutty Aussies to Urban outsitters and have always been happy with my experience. My dogs absolutely love Tommy and the whole crew. I can go to work with the peace of mind that my "babies" are being well-cared for while I am away. You also cannot beat the two dog owner rate.

I loved C.! My little yorky is so spoiled. The staff are super nice and friendly. They give her lunch and are genuinely nice. They have one of the best Little daycares in town I have ever scene and I have checked out many. By the time C. gets home she is tired from playing all day. I wish that I was my own dog!

UOS has the best daycare. I have been looking all over for a great place to spoil my little dog. They have gorgeous crystal chandeliers and the cutest facility. The girls and guys that work there are great to your dog and make sure that they are treated right. I love this daycare and would recommend it to anyone who has little dog.

If you love your pets this a must. I have a scruffy little rescue mutt that we bought. People laugh so hard when I tell them I send my "kid" to school. I cannot not tell you how much I love this store. You have to visit. You will not be disappointed.

My golden retriever has never looked or felt better. He is so happy and relaxed when we go to the beach and strong enough to hold his own. Gets really excited when we go to daycare. The tall guy with the dark hair is really nice, I think his name is Jeff. I can watch the staff interact my dog.

I go to Urban Out Sitters to get my dog time to play... By far, the store is the best I have seen since moving 3 years ago from WA, In addition, they defiantly have the best price in the city for daycare and grooming (even Pet Co and Pet Smart). Lastly, the one-on-one personal service you get at Urban is unmatched. They are very knowledgeable and truly treat my dog and me as if they have known me for years. This is the only store for us from now on!!!

Our pets are comfortable with their stay at Urban Outsitters, all the Staff are highly trained to assure that all pets are well taken care of. I can only speak highly of the service we are given on a regular basis. The transport service is accurate and timed. With this assurity I am no longer concerned who long my pets are traveling in a car. I am very aware of the internal proceedures and our pets take a short ride to and from their daycare.

I have watched first hand the care and attention my dogs get at urban. All the staff there love each and every dog with all of their heart. They are staffed to ensure the safety of your furry family member, and all the place is clean with fresh water and lots of trips outside daily!

I travel alot and I have boarded my dog at several places and this was by far the best priced. The treatment of the dogs there is fantastic. They let the dogs run around quite frequently and she seemed to be very happy when i picked her up. Thank you to the staff there.

I was extremely worried about where or with whom to leave my guy. I used a dog walker in the past. Then i began to look at different daycare facilities. Amongst all of them Urban Outsitters seemed like the perfect place for him and it certainly was. It was affordable, clean, comfortable, and the staff are great. My dog comes back as happy as can be. I was able to call while i was at work and check on him. He returns back many times since and with my mother getting older its becoming his "home away form home." I recommend this daycare for anyone who wants a safe and comfortable environment to leave their pet.

I only wish there was a place like this that i could leave my kids. Large playroon so my energetic pug has plenty of leg room. I worry about leaving Ozzie at any other place, here he probably gets more attention than at home.

I've used Urban Out SItters for over 2 years -- and my current dog, Rusty, (now 11yo) has been there too many times to count (we travel a lot!). When we mention "daycare" and he jumps around and wags his tail!! They are very caring, very clean, well run, and fairly reasonable. I hightly recommend this daycare-- it's our favorite "by choice".

Review that may help you- Urban Out SItters daycare has been a great for my dogs for a number of years.. friendly service, and people who own the place love pets. This daycare is perfect for your dog to come and stay in a nice and warm or cool atmosphere with ample attention. I've never once had a problem with my dogs coming back of any sorts. I have always been told by the owner or the person working at the time, how well behaved and what they did on certain days... now talk about specialized attention. I would recommend Urban Out SItters to anyone.

The people who work at the UOS Lakeview are always friendly and seem to genuinely care about my dogs. My dogs like to go there, and that means a lot to us. As a side note, it is always clean inside and out!

I am originally from this area. Having lived in Lakeview and I have been to other daycares for my animals in this area and have never received the kind attention that I receive at the Urban OutsItters nearby. 5 stars, best daycare I've been to.

The daycare and expertise is wonderful! my dogs always have a good time. The staff are friendly and show great care for my babies! The place is a very nice open environment. I will never go elsewhere because unlike most places they are concerned with the well being of the animals.

Husband and I bring our little puggle to the Lakeview store It is located so close to our condo. I tell you, she wiggles and wiggles her way to the front door. Did I mention she has a huge ego and thinks she is a large dog. Not even more than 16 pounds I watch her take on a golden 5 times her size. That is the way she likes it, even at the dog parks. Thanks guys. Pick up and drop off service is a god sent. And not one problem to report.

We started bringing Cameron our goldendoodle to UOS on Dayton after we realized that he needed more than just his daily dog walk. What a difference it makes! We bring Cameron in now 2 or more times a week and the guys there tell us he plays all day long. And he loves it - starts pulling us the minute we turn the corner into Dayton and he sees the place. He clearly loves it and his doggy pals there. What a difference it makes from having a frustrated overly pent up dog at nights verses having a well exercised pup. Only downside is the strong doggy odor but that's a small price to pay for a happy well exercised dog.

Flexibility is my favorite part. I probably make a few more last minute changes than they would like between the Dayton facility and the Randolph UOS. They cover Bella for everything (walks, day-care, boarding, etc). And Bella's happier to see they guy who picks her up in the mornings than she is to see me when I come home. She's happy so I'm happy. Couple minor things have popped up, but after almost two years it's nothing worth mentioning.

My westie attends UOS about 2 visits a week. More when my boyfriend is out of town. I've noticed positive changes in his behavior since he began last winter. He suffers from separation anxiety when I leave, but when I bring him in for the day, he darts right into the store. When I make his lunch in the morning he knows we are going to see his friends. When I pick him up he is so tired in the evening. The staff tell me he continues to play all day.

Parker goes to the UOS lakeview daycare. In fact, at the end of last week I requested a bath. He plays so hard all week long. Kate is one of the workers there did an amazing job. He smelled so good and his coat was super super soft. I plan on doing a weekly regime. Thanks Kate!

We bring our Ann a golden shep mix to the location on N Dayton St. She is a rescue. Our concern was if she wouldn't be okay in a daycare setting. Everyone at Urban Out Sitters is so nice. They did a whole day temperment test on her first stay at school. She has adjusted with all. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

We started using U.O.S. on Dayton in November 2007 and have been nothing but pleased with our experience. Our Rotty Doberman shepherd mix goes two or three times a week and each time he comes home so tired from playing all day. When we drop him off, he goes right in the front door of the facility and doesn't even look back, which says a lot for a dog with major separation anxiety issues! Also, the staff is phenomenal. We were running really late one day to pick him up, and they stayed an extra half hour so that we were able to get him. Moreover, you can tell that each of them really enjoys working there, and everyone knows our dog's name, which is such a nice touch!

Pros: Great customer service; nice facility; dog is tired at the end of the day

I did alot of research selecting the right daycare for my golden. My guy likes to go on long walks outside but many of the places near me (walking distance) have no outside play area. At UOS they walk the dogs during the day and I know he gets a couple walks. A few other places I checked out do not do walks, and the dogs are inside for the entire day. My other reason for choosing this company is because it is behind my vets office at Blum.

Pros: This daycare takes dogs on walks outside. Walking distance. Close to my vet.

Cons: Later hours would be nice.

Buster is super strong. He pulls me into daycare. I live in Lakeview and have been going to this facility since it opened. Changed some staff over the years. They are very nice.

Lenny has been going to the dayton store. He is so happy when we round the corner on the way. The Victorian next door is awesome.The staff are helpful and willing to answer questions I may have. I love that I can view the dogs playing at anytime. Adam is a great attribute to the store and Tommy is so sweet. He always makes us feel like his number one client and greets both of us by name when we arrive. I have not used there boarding service yet but I imagine I will sometime over this summer.

So what do I mean. I have a little frenchy. She is white with black spots, Need I say more. If anyone out there knows frenchies, you know they play alot. Maggie Moo is at daycare almost everyday. Sometimes I have a b. trip I bring her in for a day here or there. I am most fond of the flexibility I have with Urban outsitters. Convenient near the L and I can bring her in anytime of the week. Often times I will send MM all day. They don't offer half days but I can choose to have her there 12:00 hours or less. She needs the excercise and it is a fair price.

This past winter I moved to Chicago with my bestest friend Montana. I discovered UOS online and have been using the transportaion service everyday. Everyday they stop by and Montana is happy. He does circles in front of the door. What impresses me most is how accurate they are. One of my concerns was how long he would spend in the van. His travel time is minimal. I know because he is picked up in the morning by 7am before I go to work. A couple times I called to check or to tell Tommy I forgot to send Montana his lunch and he is already there by 8 o'clock. I know he is having a full day at school and not trapped in a vehicle for a long time.

Pros: Transport service is fast and on time.

Cons: Forgetting his lunch sometimes. I'm not a bad parent.

My two dogs G. and G. have been going to Urban Outsitters approaching 4 years now. I travel so much and they must be boarded two to three times a month. They go to daycare everyday of the week. They get baths when I request them to be fresh when I get home from my trips. Have not had one issue with them when we joined. Who can say that about any service? After my divorce I relocated north, and I receive the same service, even use their pet taxi service with no problems. I trust the teams from each facility completely. I will be posting it for each location since my babies use both.
