I found the smell of the shop to be unique from the moment that I walked in to the room. I think that it smelled like roast beef with some spices. This was a wonderful smell and it made me very hungery I found that the shop owner had been cooking his lunch in the microwave and it was pumping out the smell. I found that I had a hard time foucsing on the coins because of the smell of food. The room was painted in a pale blue color that made me feel comofrtable, and there was some indirect light coming in to the room from a small window across the room. The door entering the room was a heavy solid wooden door that was heavy to move. Once inside the room, I could see the owner sitting in an old wooden chair, wraped in his sweater, and smoking a pipe. He had his feet up on a stool, and was reading a thick hard cover book that looked very old. The floor had a very unique sert of tile covering that looked to be out of the fifties. I think that the owner was in his early sisties, and somewhat portly. I did not have any dealings with this man, because I had to leave and get some lunch. That bloke made me hungry with his roast beef smell. I went down the road to the Potbelly sandwitch works and had a delightfull litle beef sub that they served with a nice beef dipping sauce. It was special and I would recommend it.
