Although never a patient, I live behind this hospital. They are bullies with no sense of the environment noir their community. I have over 20 years experience as a healthcare provider in the delivery of post acute services. Their policy

First, my daughter was in their outpatient program for self-injury. What a waste of time. Then, last week, she was having a really hard time and I brought her to the hospital. First, they took us back into a room to await admission, and

Nice newer facility. Caring and experienced staff. Inpatient and outpatient services. They can handle difficult cases and situations. I have a family member that has been there many times. I'm not sure where we would go otherwise.

Stay away from this place, my ex wife and daughter were BOTH detained during an assessment process for their day program. The stress sent my daughter into a seizure which she is now in a medical facility being treated for, there are other programs out there people-Center Pointe is only in it for the insurance money and state funding-STAY AWAY!

Pros: None

Cons: Too numerous to mention

I attended their Day Program to get out of my home and have something to do. I think I was better off at home. If you like attending 4 groups in which you are overburdened by overweight(probably med side effect)consumers who either rattle off about their useless lives or else stare into space, making few utterances when it's their time to speak, then by all means have at it. Frankly, I feel that the Hospital Staff, Celeste Smith, Director, as well as some of the therapists, could care less about the bettering of the clients as opposed to raking in more money for the hospital, once the Medicare/Medicaid card is xeroxed. Overall, most if not all of the consumers, in my opinion, will be in the same state of affairs if they continued on in this program for twenty years as they are at this point in their miserable lives. For those truly stuck in group homes with limited means of transportation, who tire from chain smoking, i would encourage them to attend. At least you'll get a good free meal if not bad free therapy.

Pros: the Salad Bar

Cons: the "consumers" don't seem to improve
