We just celebrated my parent's 50th anniversary at Zehnder's. The restaurant is beautiful inside. We all ate from the buffet they offer on Sunday's only. There is plenty of food on the buffet so no one will be disappointed. My only complaint was the price. At $19.95 a person it seems a bit high. I really can't eat that much food so I didn't feel like I got my money's worth even though everything I ate was delicious. I ordered an anniversary cake from the bakery a few days before we went and had it delivered to our table. The cake was pretty and tasted wonderful! I highly recommend Zehnder's. I also recommend you get reservations or you'll be standing in line for a while.

What trip to Frankenmuth would be complete without a dinner at Zehnder's? Its a tradition with our family. We love the chicken dinners. And my daughter and I always order chicken livers! But we also love the chicken, dressing, gravy and everything else. And now you can take home the left overs, a real plus in my book. Yes the price is a lot higher than when we first started going in the 70's, but what isn't?
We would recommend eating there to everyone.

Zehnders of Frankenmuth offers a melt in your mouth meal that could easily feed 2. We had to wait in line for this famous meal and we will wait again. The servings were so large that our 4 meals could have fed twice that amount. Excellent food and friendly service.

Wow! We make Zehnder's a family trip at least twice a year. They have the best chicken in the world and I would have to say that their dressing is right up there with my moms! I would highly reccommend making reservations to dine here because there is often a long wait. Even if you have to wait, though, it is well worth it. THe meals are reasonable and for less that $20 a person, you can get all you can eat chicken dinners that are never ending. The butter noodles are a favorite! The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very quick to please. We have never in the 20 years taht we have been going, had a bad meal and we continue to go back!

You must stop here or the restaurant across the street to try the famous chicken dinners. The lines can be super long so I recommend that you make reservations (online or by phone 2 days in advance).

I have only been to their restaurant...but it was GREAT!! It was a full course meal that was wonderful, a little pricy, but WELL worth it!! If you are ever in Frankenmuth, check this place out!! They have great food...try their bread if you go, it's sooo good! They have tons of varities to choose from. Also, it's great for weddings or if you need cakes.

This is a well-known, very large restaurant in downtown Frankenmuth. It is professionally-run, clean and neat. It has a large seating capacity (with several dining rooms), has a bakery, gift shops, etc... The food is wonderful, but I must say that the prices (while not outlandish), are quite high. It's not a place I'd take my entire family out for dinner (because of the prices), but it's a great place to go with friends or just spouse/friend.
PROS: great food, well-run, wonderful atmosphere
CONS: high prices
