I also decided to see what this place was all about,,,, from the moment I walked it I was ignored. After 15 minutes a sales woman approached me and finally showed me some items I may like.. After I pointed out that I was not interested in the first 4 rings she showed me she became very annoyed and told me that my expectations were unrealistic. Really??? Hmmmmm, because I actually did find rings that were beautiful at James and Sons at a fraction of the price...
Here is the bottom line, the selection is small and very outdated, you know what I am talking about when I say outdated, that ring that was cool in 1987,,, but the worst part is how rude and condescending the sales woman was to me, little did she know I had the cash and the time and didn't need to be talked down to like a child... Dont even waste a second at this store, there are better places all over the city...

Pros: none

Cons: rude salespeople, overpriced, small selection of items

I am really disappointed with my experience at Fey Jewelers. I heard the radio ads saying that is was "the coolest jewelry store" and I was skeptical. My skepticism was for good reason - after you battle with parking, you go into a room that is a cross between a bad college bar and a department store perfume counter.

Here's my story - me and my boyfriend went to shop for engagement rings before he went home for the summer. We don't have a ton of money, but I figured we could find something in our price range ($2,000). So, we get inside Fey and the sales person offered us wine and beer. My bf is 20. He tells her the kind of ring we're looking for and she asks how much do we want to spend. He tells her - $2,000. She shows us a ring in the same style, but for $6,000. I tell the girl that it's nice, but we can't afford it. She says, "Oh we have financing available." My bf says, "No, we want to pay cash." They do have comfy chairs, though.

My bf and I were shopping together, and the sales person hardly ever talked to me. I mean, "HELLO!" I'm the one telling the her what I want. Don't ignore me and talk to my boyfriend! I felt like I was buying a used car, not a diamond engagement ring.
