Black Thorn Pub

My dad works for Kraft Pizza Company, and I grew up on pizza. However, Black Thorn pizza is the absolute best pizza I have ever had. When you bite into it, the cheese just keeps coming. I had two slices and my stomach felt like it would explode but I wanted to keep eating! Put your order in early because it takes a long time to make, but it is definitely worth it!

Awesome deep dish style pizza. The sauce has a spicy kick to it which makes it stand out from other pizzas. Call ahead if you are in a hurry since you may have to wait anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half but the restaurant has a fun, low-key atmosphere while you are waiting. Easily the best deep dish pizza in St. Louis (coming from a Chicago native)!

My favorite Chicago Style pizza in the entire world. Love the atmosphere. Great jukebox. Oatmeal stout on tap. Best pizza in St. Louis. If you are going for the Pizza call ahead and order your pizza as soon as they open. I would head up around the time they say it will be ready since they only have one pizza oven and each pizza takes and 45 min to cook. Great atmosphere- I love neighborhood bars.
