.

We are lucky to have a phone company as forward thinking as ours is. Back in the early 1990's when the Internet was new to the general public we had local dial up service before the surrounding big cities did. Now we have fiberoptic cables which have been installed in the last year. For those two things alone I give it a world class rating.

I had used Mediacom for cable TV for years and recently switched to Liberty Comm to take advantage of the faster Internet service that I could get with it. The overall quality of the TV "reception" is flawless whereas Mediacom was breaking up a lot. But...I don't like that I don't get local weather on the Weather Channel, and I don't think I'm getting as many channels for the same amount of money. I thought I would be saving money and I'm not. I do like that the channels are grouped by type, such as sports or kids. Overall, because of the progressive nature of the company I would rather support them than a media giant like Mediacom.
