Moving experts helped me with my relocation to Sedona AZ. I accepted job offer that unfortunately did not include the moving expenses and had to pay for this move from my own pocket. The Moving Expert?s price was not the cheapest price out there and therefore they were not my first choice of the company, but after talking to their representative and getting all the information about their company and on how to prepare all my things the right way for the move, I seen that this is a better company for me. All the other places had charges like packing, shuttle and fuel, the same as this company ? but non-of them bothered to even mention these charges till I questioned them. Experts was the only company that informed me about these charges and they were the only company that explained in great detail on what can I do prior to the move to avoid these charges. I am pleased with this company, they are honest people and not trying to take your last dime.

Moving is not easy ? we all know it, but this company did all they could to make it easier on out family. We had to move because my husband lost his job and was not able to find different job in our hometown for several months. Moving experts understood all my problems, offered me a discount on this move and even gave several free boxes which I appreciated. The moving man that did the job were careful with my furniture and worked quickly and efficiently. The delivery was prompt and within the promised time and I did get a proper notice before the movers arrived.

I spoke with Danielle from the moving experts in regards to my moving request. Danielle made me feel very comfortable about using her company, and informed me of many cost that other companies never mentioned. Becuase of this I decided to move with the moving experts.

A day before my move the movers called me to confirm my pick up window for the next day. They arrive during that window and started to gather my belongings together. They did inform me that I had a few extra boxes (which I did) and had to charge me around $50.00 more. I was happy that they told me about this cost before they moved it on the truck so I could decide to keep it or not. There were no extra rates and the extra space I took was at the same price as they told me orginally. ( I've see so many stories when I was researching that movers will give a higher rate on the pick up) Danielle insurred me that would not happen, and she kept her word.

I had a 14 day delivery window, and received my stuff in about 7 business days. The movers called me the day before again to tell me when they would deliver. When my stuff reached me in IL everything looked as it did when it left. This company was very professional and knowledgable and would recommend them to anyone reading.

Very good service. I was moved from Kansas to North Carolina. Thought the costumer service was wonderful and the movers hard working. I would recommend them to anyone and would like to thank them for a easy move.

This company did a great job with my move. The customer service was excellent and always friendly when I needed help. I had lots of changes before my move and they always took care of everything. The movers were only 30 min late, but the snow was coming here in IL so that was fine. They helped pack my TV and glass table, which upon arrival at my new home were still in the same condition along with all my belongings. They don't have the cheapest prices out there, but trust me the extra couple hundred dollars is well worth their quality of moving.

I wanted to thank The Moving Experts for a honest and quick move. They informed me of everything that would be included in my move and informed me of every extra charge that could come my way. No other mover informed me of so many things during our conversations. If it wasn't for Danielle informing me of semi trailer access I would have been blind sided at my delivery with a $400-500 shuttle charge. Danielle was the first to inform me of these charges so I was well aware of what I was going to pay with no suprises (and there was none). Everyone I spoke to at the office was always helpful and the movers hardworking. I received my stuff all in one pieces, so thats always good! Listen to this knowledgeable company they really know what they are doing.

I recently moved from FL-UT and decided to book with the Moving Experts. They gave me a quote of 1,812 and that is excatly what I paid. I was reasurred that my quote would be a gaurenteed quote and with so many stories you read now you never know who to believe. The movers came on time and worked very hard. Within a few hours the movers had everything (my life!) loaded onto the truck. Within a week I received a phone call that my stuff was on its way! Everyone I worked with spoke to me with great costumer service, understandment, and knowledge of what they do. I would recommend this company to anyone who is out there trying to move!

The move was carried out very smoothly from start to finish. Someone from the company contacted me regularly for updates. The personnel were professional and courteous (Including company reps and movers). I would certainly recommend them, and this comes from someone who had very little faith in moving companies after a horrible past experience.

I did enter my information on internet to get a moving quote - and I got bombarded with 15 different companies calling me and emailing me - that was all very confusing. I spoke with as many companies as I was able to and got about 8 quotes -all different prices. Kerry and another lady, sorry I do not remember her name, at the moving experts were very helpful and nice but their price was higher then other companies, so I end up choosing the company with a lower quote that had their representative come and gave me an estimate and promised that his price is guaranteed (I will not mention this company here but I will definitely make sure to put as many complaints about them as possible). When the movers arrived for a pick up - all I was advised that will happen - happened. The price went up for over 50%, the delivery dates was incorrect, and the packing was not included. I canceled the move with them, lost my deposit and called back to moving experts and they did save the day. Moving experts picked me up on the next day - the guaranteed the delivery that I requested (at extra cost) but they came thru. The quote was within the 10% off but they did all pricing over the phone so I consider that to be pretty professional work, the pick up went smooth and Jime the driver was wonderful and knew exactly what to do. My furniture was loaded on the trailer and delivered straight to Florida. I wish only I went with moving experts right a way and I wouldn't loose my deposit to the 1st company. You leave and learn what I can say. Any way - this is defiantly company that I will use in the future and will recommend to friends.

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with! They don't give a **** about customer service! When they came to our apartment in Cleveland for our move to the Boston area to pick up our stuff, everything seemed on the up and up. They came on time, worked hard without taking a break, took care to wrap
and tape our stuff in blankets, and loaded it on the truck. So far, so good. They told me the stuff should be delivered to the new place by Sept 30 (the move-in date) and the 14-day business day wait for delivery on the contract was just standard boilerplate. That is a lie! As October went by and still no furniture, I called several times. All I got was "we don't know when delivery will be, we wil let you know." Finally I called Ira, the owner/manager of the business and expressed my displeasure and got the same story. My wife, who, to say the least, was not at all happy about this, then called Ira and demanded to terminate the contract and asked where our stuff was stored so she could contact another company to come and pick it up. She also called Ira on the fact that they were lying about the delivery time. Well this got results, because we got our stuff 2 days later. (22 days after pickup) So, if you want to do business with The Moving Experts, be ready to be without your stuff for at least three weeks.

I scheduled this move last minute with Moving Experts. My new job paid for this move and it took them a long time to confirm the payment, so when I called and spoke with movers I was sure that it will be extra arm and leg for such a last minute reservation but they were able to pick my things from my storage next day at the same price that was in the original quote.

The person that coordinates deliveries, Leo, was on the ball and always made sure I have all of my questions answered. Nicely done.

Pros: The pros: knowledgeable & well-informed office personal, professional movers, very fast pick up services, reasonable price, costumer service.

They lost $1500 worth of our stuff and haven't found it yet. We'll be lucky if we get reimbursed $100 for our claim. Between what they lost and the move, we are out almost $3,000.

The Moving Experts seemed like a great company. Then, on the day of the move, Elite Moving & Storage showed up. We had no idea who they were. Turns out The Moving Experts are really a broker, not a mover.

Elite ended up trying to get us to agree to different contract terms than The Moving Experts had presented, and also sneak in a gas surcharge fee. They called many times per day to collect money from us and to get us to sign additional paperwork we hadn't anticipated. The paperwork from Elite had "legalese" that contradicted our original agreement with The Moving Experts. All the while, they refused to get working on moving the stuff (they had it sitting in storage) until we agreed with their new paperwork.

After days of back-and-forth, they finally said they'd start working on the move if we agreed not to pay with credit card and sent a money order. With my girlfriend not having her stuff, and about to begin a new job, we felt like hostages to whatever they wanted us to do. We sent the money order and they began working on the move.

While The Moving Experts had verbally said "it should take a few days," Elite said "we have 14 business days to get you your stuff. you'll get it in 14 business days." That translates into 3 weeks to go from New York to Atlanta. When they finally were in the area, they kept telling my girlfriend "we'll be there in an hour," and they kept her waiting in the house - missing work - from 4pm until 8:30am the next morning, waiting for them to show up.

When they finally arrived, she was already late for work (2nd week of her new job!). They unloaded and she paid them. She rushed off to work and when she got home she realized they had lost about $1,500 worth of her stuff. They still haven't found it.

The Moving Experts and Elite are a nightmare.

Cons: Disorganized, Careless, Bad Customer Service, They may lose your items

I used moving experts to move my 1BR belongings from Texas to the Northeast. Let me list out the pros and cons of their service. The pickup was subcontracted to R and L moving systems, and the dropoff to Preferred Relocators:
PRO'S:
(1). Their quote was way lower (about 20-30%) than others
(2). They did not charge me any add on's, during either pickup or drop off
(3). The pickup was impressive - they packed everything within the hour

CON'S
(1). I had no idea at all that two separate contractors handled the pickup and drop off
(2). I tipped a large amount (more than 10% of the total) to the pickup folks, as I was led to believe that the same people are going to drop off. Of course, they were lying, and I totally walked into this one
(3). I was promised a dropoff within a week of informing them about my new address, and it took them more than 14 days instead. I was not kept posted about the delay at all.
(4). Since there were 3 parties involved in moving my stuff, no one took any responsibility for the delay in drop off. The guy in Preferred Relocators even yelled at me when I started complaining about being redirected so many times on the phone.
(5). I finally had 3 college kids come over to deliver the stuff. They were hard working, but clearly inexperienced (it was their first day). So I did not let them reassemble my bed, even though they offered.
(6). There were a few damages to the furniture, and they managed to lose my $30 DVD player

So, bottomline is, I did manage to get my move done for cheap, and the experience was a lot less painfull than if I had to move the stuff myself using a Uhaul. But I would not rely on these guys for a more serious move (i.e. more than a 1BR apt), and would gladly be willing to pay a few hundred dollars more for the peace of mind that comes with it.

I was surprised with how easy my move went.

Danielle from the moving experts was talking to my wife about our move from Chicago to California. she took care of all the changes that we did during that time. the gentlemen from elite that moved us were professional and fast. they worked hard, loaded everything on the semi that delivered in California within 6 days - that even more surprised me as on the paper work they put 14 days and I would be out of the country if that would take that long. all my furniture is in a good condition no damages. very successful move.

I used moving experts for my move from IL to FL. the company was great in explaining how the moving process works as it was my first time using a moving company. They also took their time to explain me how to pack the items so I can save some money. Every time I called with additional questions, there was someone who was able to address my concerns.
As it got close to my move date, dispatch called me to give me the window of truck?s arrival. Movers were very nice and professional. Since, I am a single woman I needed some help with my packing. They helped me to putt apart my bed and packed my TV.
I was concerned about my final weight, and had additional concerns about my delivery. I shared my concerns with dispatch and they were kind enough to take their time to talk to me and kept in touch with me throughout the process. I received my belongings within a week after pick-up. I had a very good experience and I?m planning to recommend this company to all of my friends.

I moved from Texas to Miami with The Moving Experts and was happy with the choice of the moving company that showed up in my door. The movers were well-mannered and very patient with my entire request (I was much stressed out - it was the first time I moved to a different state). They worked with me on all my little issues and changes of the furniture and were supportive all the way.
The office manager did call me to let me know that the price went $150.00 up, but that was ok as I did forgot to mention at list 10 items in my initial conversation with Danielle.
I got 1 month free storage, and the movers delivered when I was ready with my new place.

Good move.

I recently moved with the moving expert from Ann Arbor, MI to Houston, TX. I moved twice before with professional moving companies that ended up ripping me off. I was very worried to use a company for this move and almost rented my own truck to move by myself. Eventually, after a long search for the best company I found the moving experts. Their prices were not the cheapest but after my previous experience I decided to spend a little more and hope to get a better service. Today, all I can say is that I made a great choice. I ended up paying less than I paid for my previous moves and got an excellent service. The salesperson was very informative and knowledgeable and very patient even after I called almost everyday with questions. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and will use them again for my next move.

Moving Experts did a great job. I was very worried before my move and searched with a lot of companies until I decided to go with the Moving Experts. I was very happy with my decision. They came on time, took 5 hours to load my 3 bedroom house and delivered me 3 days after. The price was right and the service was great. I heard so much horror stories about moving companies and today I feel very lucky about my choice to move with Moving Experts. I wanted to thank their staff for making this move so smoothly and stress-free. I have already recommended my friends to use this company.

I wanted to thank Moving Experts for a great move. I was very impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the movers and the consultants over at the Moving Experts. I am relocating on average every 4 years and have experienced some of the worst and best movers. This company was a perfect choice. Throughout my moving process they helped me and addressed all my questions and concerns. The movers showed on time and the price was right about what they quoted me. I am an artist and was a bit disappointed to find that two of my paintings were missing. I called a day after my delivery to report the missing items. The same day they told me that they have found my missing paintings and within a week I received them at my new home. I think that their customer service and professionalism should be awarded. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone I know.

I moved with Moving Experts on September and had an excellent experience. The lady I was talking to before my move was very helpful. She gave me an accurate and detailed quote and explained about all possible charges. On the day of the move, the movers showed an hour earlier which I was fine with cause I had scheduled my flight on the same day and was worried I would miss it. They were done loading my stuff in three hours. They were very kind and efficient and I felt very confident that my furniture was in good hands. At the end I paid $53.00 over the estimated cost but I was fine with that. They delivered my goods after 6 days (I moved coast to coast) and nothing was missing or broken. I want to thank the moving experts for an excellent job!!!:)

I used The Moving Experts twice for my long distance move accross the states. In both times the sales people were very helpful and understanding. The movers that came did a good job wrapping the furniture and loading all on the truck. Every thing was delivered in the time frame promissed and the bill was right.
Will use them again, if i will ever move, and will recomend them to all.
